Wearing club gear to a national game is sensitive topic for a lot people on BigSoccer. The airfare is cheap. Yesterday I booked a $200 (including taxes & fees) roundtrip flight on Expedia.
Booked flights and hotel for two nights for $308.00 about 45 seconds after it was confirmed. Staying at the Clarion near the stadium. Got my USA Flag, Gadsden Flag, Red Soccer Blanket, USA Scarf, Red USA Shirt, Red USA Jacket and USA hat all set to go. Will be in the Sam's Army section for sure. I'm jacked for a Mexican't BEATDOWN!
I was seriously considering going, then I checked my syllabus and discovered I had a midterm that day. Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait another four years...
Boss told me this morning that I had to go to Columbus for a business trip the week of February 9th. This afternoon, she said it was on hold for a couple of weeks.

Went in '01 (and '05), and I'll be there in Columbus in Feb. Same for Azteca ('01, '05, and I'll be there in Aug). Staying at the Clairmont near Claddagh's in Columbus. Both the home and away games are incredible experiences.
