my three teen daughters prefer Boca or Twellman over Landon. I think its landons forehead....no make that a fivehead that turns them off.
I think Landon is trying to be the big fish in the little pond. He will never be man enough to go to Europe and play there. He is happy and content being baby jesus here in the states and I think that actually makes some people pretty mad. Most people want him to succeed and be the the man but they know he can't do it here in MLS. The boy needs to become a man and step up to the next level. He keeps playing in the MLS and you will see more of those cheap shots out of him. I think he would rather talk trash in spanish than learn to beg for mercy in german.
And it is post like this, that keep me coming..... He will never be man enough? He is 21 and already the most recognizable soccer player to the american public......ahhh, forget it... I'm not in the mood for this today....
most recognized player in a country that basically could care or less about soccer.......that and a dime won't get him a cup of coffee.
I hope Mamma Landon sent her little bad boy to his room with no supper for his immature acts to teach him a lesson...
Guevara was sprinting down the left side and Donovan went in hard, going for the player and not getting anywhere near the ball. - In any other league around the world thats a straight red card. Donovan went in on Walker while Walker already had the ball and tried to elbow him. While having a yellow already, in any other league around the world thats a second yellow. Case Closed.
Donovan can eat nuts. He's being a baby here. Frankly the only thing interesting about this whole situation is that it has made me wonder if San Jose fans have bigger home team blinders on that the two fans that I currently put in spots 1 and 2 on the homer list, DC and Columbus. If Mathis pulled that jive and then talked sh!t about it they'd be calling for his head. The fouls weren't egregious like the Suarez clear out of Cobi in WC02, but they were pretty obvious. For him to get his victoria's secrets in a bunch about people diving on him is ridiculous. His foul on Guevara was a clear professional foul, and no one can dispute that he kicked Amado's foot long after the ball was past him. He "had" to do it. Or else what? Gatorade cancels his contract? "MLS made me do it?" Grow up already. You did what the Oliver Neuvilles of the world have been doing for years. Just admit it and move on.
Blame the ref. He was the guy with the cards stuck in his pocket. On the other hand - A great writer once said that one of the necessary components to a great match includes at least one egregious call by the ref that incites most of the fans.
Exactly. I can hate Donovan then forgive him and move on for 2 cardable offenses. I've done worse and it's done every day in every game. Clint does it. but then those pu$$y-a$$ remarks at the end of the game? That's what marks him as a wanker in my book. He had it coming? For what, making you look look a practice pylon? Stop flopping, this is America? What, land of the free home of the pr!cks? Bite me.
its the forehead... years of constant ridicule as a child had led to malicious behaviour on the playing field.
Maybe it is time for Landon to move on. Apparently he wants to be a great big fish; a bigger fish than this little pond (MLS) can hold. Let him swim with the sharks, where he will either thrive, or be eaten.
Anyone catch Shep on MSR - GKs look out for one another, some keeper in this league is going to take that kid's head off.
