Not as bad but as it's been pointed out who plays when Jewsbury picks up the inevitable yellow card accumulation?

The first time I saw Watson from a distance pre-game in person, I honestly thought he was someone's kid getting to warm up with the club.

I've never understood how he even made a professional team with his height.

Well the person some consider the greatest player of all time is about the same height. I wonder what Lance Watson would look like when supersized.

Chance Meyers could fill that role. He did play there in college and I like to see something from a #1 pick otherwise he might as well go somewhere else.

I agree it's Pele, but Maradona destroyed him in a FIFA web poll. Maradona even has his own religion.

Now if Lance Watson had a legion of true believers, he might be able to stick with the club this year.

Maybe it was easier for a 4 footer to play football 20 years ago? Watson is actually listed at 5'7 but I have my doubts plus he somehow looks like a poor man's Mark Wahlberg.

Based on reading about Besler he might be able to step up there if needed as well.

I remember that getting mentioned last year as well and I haven't seen him do anything that makes me think he could play centrally.

I haven't either, BUT we did only see him a little bit at the beginning of last season, before his sickness and injury. He has pressure to perform now, that he is what 21, 22 years old. If he wants to be part of this team he will have to find a way to get himself on the feild, whether at right back, d-mid, or right mid.

I heard a nice little rumor today. I heard that the Hand of Justice is considering retirement and that a younger, more advanced verison is believed to be joining the squad. I'll keep you guys posted on any updates as the come to me...

Hey now, I like him. The guy's got an awesome name. :D

On another note, you all remember not too long ago when most of this board wanted to GET RID OF Morsink? At one point, I think many of us might have given him to Houston in return for them taking him. My how things have changed.

And there are still some of us who do want him gone.

Good for him getting into the final pair. If you looked at the pics from last practice he looked like he was going to die or just trying way to had to impress during the beep test. I would be (about ready to die) so who am I to say anything.

Not really a rumor anymore, Nick Garcia signed a multi-year deal to stay in San Jose.

Good for nicky, he's a class act. I'm glad he got the stability he was looking for. Good luck to him next season (except against us, that is :D)

IMO Gomez is our right winger. He ran at defenders, beat them and played in a lot of dangerous crosses that the forwards couldn't put away. If given the time he could be a very good outside player.
