$25. will hurt; I didn't see a lot of families coming to this anyway. Midweek, plus parking, plus concessions -- pretty soon your close to $200. for a family of 4.

In my case it's just the $25 for another ticket, the bus for 2, and that's it. My wife will smuggle in her own snacks, since she finds the Swamp concession prices downright obscene.

I'm handing out flyers to the young and restless -- 20 to 30 yr old singles and any guy on the street wearing a jersey of any kind.

How did Chi figure to capitalize on the Mex-UR friendly? That was already set up, tickets already bought and sold. Would USSF honor those tix for the OC match, too -- one ticket gets 2 matches? How does the USSF get a cut of the friendly ticket sales?

All those who believe in fairies tinkle your bells.

Does anybody know of any other professional sports team in this area giving away playoff/championship game tickets to their season ticket holders?

$66 will get you a bleacher seat at Yankee Stadium for this year's World Series if they're playing in it.

    - Tickets for the game will go on sale on Monday, October 6 at 12 noon.

    - Tickets are $25 each

    - Metromembers get a free ticket to the game and can purchase additional tickets for $20 each

    - Half-season ticket holders can purchase tickets for $20 each

Ok, i may be dense but after reading the web site I assume we will automatically receive the comp tickets in the mail. The web site said Metromembers *may* receive compementary tickets, then says for tickets call your rep. I assume that's for additional tickets at $20. OK, I know, make fun of me.

BTW, for all we complain the Metros really are good to us. That never waste a ticket deal is fantastic, and this offer is really great, too.

Here is an excerpt from an e-mail I received from MFO:

" The USOC Final will be part of your MetroMember package you will receive your same MetroStars seats for the game. You should be receiving the tickets by the end of next week."

Just talked to ticket office about the ESC section 101. That will be opened up and tickets will be able to be bought at the ESC window. Tickets will be same price as everyone else ($25). However, you can get tickets for $20 if you get them before the 15th and order from the Metro ticket office. You have to give them you ESC number in order to get the discount. Plus, there is no limit on those tickets!!!
