Play Dempsey and Bradley deeper fronting the wingbacks and behind Donovan, or as a 3-4-1-2 if you'd like.

It's actually an inverted 3-5-2, or a 3-2-3-2. The biggest thing is to ATTACK out of it while getting width. The base is 3-5-2, but using the wings to defend a bit more and pushing hard out of the center of the park. Parkhurst can either push up in front of Gooch/Boca or play behind them to clean up depending on the situation. You can drop Clint/BBjr behind LD and play it like a 3-4-1-2 (very similar to the Jeonju scheme and we know how that turned out).

Are you planning on putting a red carpet down the right side, as well?

    ......Donovan.......Altidore.....

I am guessing that is what it will be although I do not trust pearce on the left and would slide Boca out there. The only spot I have trouble with is LW since I do not think Beasley is sharp enough but Rogers is untested and freddy is not playing.
