Eurosport can also be a very good source of bargains if you talk to the people in charge of their team catalog and team sales. Last year we outfitted a team for about $25 per girl (shirts, shorts and socks). They were from Adidas.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp One thing I've learned by playing this year's version of the game that I wasn't aware of until now:

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Starting this season, all NHL teams (in real life) will be wearing their colored jerseys at home and their white jerseys on the road (a total reversal from the past).

    &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp GO EARTHQUAKES!!! :(

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Another interesting aspect about the jerseys: Besides the fact that you can have your chosen NHL team wear its "vintage" jersey in this game, you'll also see those jerseys elsewhere...

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp In a game I played recently with the San Jose Sharks visiting the Minnesota Wild, I saw many of the people in the stands wearing not only Minnesota Wild jerseys, but Minnesota North Stars jerseys as well.

    &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp GO EARTHQUAKES!!! :(

Holy heck! I had a dream last night that I had the Nike logo tattooed on my right ankle!

It wasn't really the Nike "logo" but that's what it was in my dream. It was the whoosh inside a blue box that had three stars across the top and three stars across the bottom with the whoosh right in the center.

Holy heck! That's a scary dream!

Did the three stars indicate three championships for the Quakes?

S'okay Amy, I have a thing for soccer players too. Especially defenders. And we all know about your love for keepers. The first step in solving the problem is admitting the problem. ;)

    Hehe. :p

Spartacus, let me know if you got my response to your PM. Cuz it shows the little "replied to" icon, but it's not showing up in my sent or tracking.

I'm getting old. And everyone seems to think they need to remind me of this today.

    I need a beer... or two...or three...or....

    Pretty bad one.
That Russian punk-rock show yesterday night was great, but I don't quite remember (not in detail at least) the end of the night..

I just got my Brian Mullan away shirt! Well, I mean I just ordered it. Hopefully they'll have it on Friday so I can wear it to the game. After what he said after Saturday's game, Brian will be very happy to see that shirt I'm sure!

Woo hoo! I'm so excited peeps!

    Three things:

    1. I have had six knee surgeries

    2. Tin is my least favorite of all the metals.

    3. How long do I have to be a newbie?

    Two things:

    1. There are a lot of pages on this thread.

    2. The fax machine where I work makes this really annoying high pitched, whinning sound.

A sales rep, an administration clerk and the manager are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp. They rub it and a Genie comes out in a puff of smoke. The Genie says, "I usually only grant three wishes, so I'll give each of you just one."

"Me first! Me first!" says the admin clerk. "I want to be in the Bahamas, driving a speedboat, without a care in the world."

    Poof! She's gone.

In astonishment, "Me next! Me next!" says the sales rep. "I want to be in Hawaii, relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of pina coladas and the love of my life."

    Poof! He's gone.

"OK, you're up," the Genie says to the manager. The manager says, "I want those two back in the office after lunch."

Moral of the story: Always let your boss have the first say.
