Wow, are all those guys hurt or just being held back ahead of the CL game!!? Might be a chance for Reggina to get something. But we'll see.

As far as I know, they're all hurt. Pessotto and Fresi are playing with the primavera this weekend, still getting back into shape.

    Official starting lineups...

Reggina: Belardi; Jiranek, Sottil, Mesto, Martinez; Baiocco, Mozart, Falsini; Nakamura; Di Michele, Bonazzoli.
    Coach: Colomba.
On the bench: Lejsal, Torrisi, Franceschini, Paredes, Tedesco, Leon, Dall'Acqua.

Juventus: Buffon; Tudor, Ferrara, Iuliano, Birindelli; Camoranesi, Tacchinardi, Maresca, Appiah; Nedved, Di Vaio.
    Coach: Lippi
On the bench: Chimenti, Montero, Zambrotta, Davids, Scicchitano, Miccoli, Zalayeta

    ???

Why is Tudor starting outside instead of Zambrotta?
Why do we have one wide midfielder and three central midfielders?

This is a very weird lineup.

I got to watch the game over at a friend's house (although I was pretty distracted playing with his twin ten-month old boys). The first goal was a real blunder by Reggina's goalkeeper (who sadly is on my fantacalcio team) and Di Vaio pounced on the loose ball. The second goal was through a nice series of passes leading to a great shot by Nedved. Buffon made some great saves and Ferrara as well.

How can you possibly have Belardi on a fantasy team. Oh, that's right Fantacalcio has a draft, right. He's horrible. He makes a blunder like that every few games. Remember last year when he slid to save a corner on the endline only to give it right to Zalayeta? But they started their other keeper the last two weeks and he's bad, too. Can't figure out why a keeper wasn't priority #1 for Reggina this summer. Anyway ...

Juventus won in a stroll with a line-up of half subs. The Reggina fan is me was very disappointed by this game, but the Juve fan is happy that they didn't have to work very hard at all ahead of Tuesday. A much-needed "rest" after three very difficult games in a row.

    Great Match for Juve
    Best Players:

    1. Nedved- leadership on the field and nice goal
    2. Buffon- Outstanding saves
    3. Ferrara- Absolutely rock hard in the back(he should start)
    4. Di Vaio- Although his goal was the prettiest it is still a goal and that is what Juve needs
    in DelPiero's absence

    FORZA JUVE!!!

Yeah, I know. I didn't get any of my first-choice keepers and got stuck with him. And who am I going to get in exchange for Belardi?

    Exactly.

I guess the consensus is that Camoranesi was sort of absent for this game. Oh, well - he didn't need to waste his energy. BTW, the Italian announcer referred to Miccoli as the "Romario" of ... somewhere, Solento, Sorrento? Wherever he's from. And then they showed him, and it made sense. I'd never thought of it, but same build, same style (somewhat). I hope he can show the same scoring touch on a big stage.

he has a Che Guevara tattoo on his back calf that he hides since he is with juve....hehe he cant neither wear his earing anymore
