Well, today I got an email from Fado that makes it sound like there is a $20 cover for the MLS Cup final....is this possible? It's not on satellite is it????

I am going to guess that the e-mail itself was poorly written and what they were probably trying to say was that there may be a (satellite station mandated) cover charge of $20 for stuff such as international rugby or football matches. I know sometimes Setanta MAKES them charge a $10 or $20 cover for certain rugby matches of football games (such as Schalke vs. Porto last year).
Very sloppy e-mail. The programming with an asterisk (two, actually) requires a cover charge (i.e., the Fall Tour Rugby matches).

Friday's Dispatch says there's a watch party at Studio 35 in Clintonville. Doors open at 2:30. No cover.
What about Claddagh? I have been there and it seems like it is a good space with a pretty good beer selection. I watched a couple of Crew away games and it seems relaxed. Will there be a big contingent there? I would like to go to Keegans but it may be too crowded to see the game comfortably.

i live right down the street in covington and have gotten to know some of the bartenders so i could call but probably not necessary. i prefer to watch the game @ molly's. so,,now that i know other crew fans will be there watching i'm fired up. as far as my buds their way to lasy and in love with their flat screen tv's. let's go crew!!!!!!!!!!!

Ohhhhhh I get it now. For some reason my workplace firewall was blocking the picture you posted from my Flickr. *scratches head because he can look at Flickr all day long with impunity from the IT department* I apologize that the Black & Blue, as it is so aptly named, offends your sensibilities, but as a long time Guinness drinker, I choose such drinks carefully. This one was good. Guinness and port wine was the strangest I've ever seen. I wasn't adventurous enough to try it.
