    Thanx for the clip.

Why did the referee correct his own decision? I've rarely seen a more justified red card (what an ugly & stupid foul from the Haifa player).

the guy from Netanya (Dedi Ben Dayan) raised his leg before Culma hit him...they should have given Ben Dayan a red card..!

    That doesn't matter.

Are you serious? In Bundesliga, the Haifa player would not only have been sent off for that incredible action but would also have been penalized with at least 3-4 games to miss due to attempted assault!

    @ Erikbmg

    Are you Gladbach fan?

seems like ur confused i'm talking about the play were the referee gives and a red card and them changes it for a yellow one...in that play Ben Dayan acted like a cheater...NOW i think ur talking about the play with Tazemeta, were he used Shai Maimon as a human skate board..! :D

dunno the IFA websites doesn't have them yet...

    No, I'm not confused. :)

    Yep.

C'mon, stop joking. That was a clear red and no yellow card (no matter how seriously he hit his opponent)! Don't know why the Haifa players suddenly ran to the linesman ... and how this influenced the referee's decision.

    Now definitely "buona notte".

    @ Erikbmg

I wish you a nice time in Israel. Hope you can attend a game.

FCMN what u need to do is call mayor Miriam Feirberg and tell her to build that new stadium for 30,000 it would be a shame that if u guys play in Europe wont play in ur Netanya home ground....get some chains and lock urself up in the municipality, do a strike or something..!!!

The stadium is supposed to be around 24,000 or so in the second phase. The first phase is just the two main grandstands that will be 12,000-18,000. When the need arises, they will build the two stands behind the goals. They don't need a bigger stadium. Very few people show up to league matches as it is.

    Really impressive! Kudos!

    Thanx for the pics.

Btw: I like that huge green/white/black flag I often saw in the Haifa supporters section during UEFA Cup games ... since it looks exactly like a BMG flag in our Nordkurve and a Greuther Fürth flag in the stands of my local 2nd league club. :))

well i dont care if the stadium is for 29,999 people, UEFA said that only stadiums with a capacity of 30,000 or more are UEFA approved, so if they wanna play an european competition at home they need to have that capacity..i'm tired of seeing all the games of Israeli clubs in fu(king Bloomfield..wich also looks like sh!thole btw..!

    Re: Ligat Ha'al 2008-2009

You forget one thing dude, Netanya didn't took any trophy for 26 years! But still we have the 4th or 5th biggest fans in the country.
I respect Haifa and their fans, but please be objective, you know that Netanya fill Ramat Gan stadium with 40.000 fans in the cup final against Bnei Yehuda in 1978?! We are the 5th biggest club in Israel and we have a lot of fans around the country, but all the years with no titles, and being relegated twice to the second league, effected many of the fans that grew up on the bright years of Netanya unfortunately...
Our current stadium is a shit hole. We know it, Mattheus knows it, Jammer knows it and the city knows it. That's why we build a new stadium, that was suppose to be ready like a year ago...Anyway we're about to move there next season, and I hope they'll finish the stadiums in Haifa, Petach Tikva, Beer Sheva and the rest...

Schnorrer I thought UEFA approve a stadium from 20.000 and up?! Correct me if I 'm wrong, I don't really understand in those UEFA rules...

Wrong. ;) We're playing in white (the club colours are black/white/green) this season. Last season it was black & white with green socks...

    Really? Didn't know that...

So the smaller European clubs will get forced to move to cities with a 30,000+ stadium and play in front of a 5,000 - 10,000 crowd? That's not really reasonable in my eyes.

Btw: HSV have played an UEFA Cup away game in a stadium with 6,000 fans (Romania). Now just imagine the atmosphere with 6,000 fans in a 30,000+ capacity stadium...

What is your source for this? It sounds more like the UEFA rule that stadiums that wish to host a major UEFA competition must be 30,000+. Or that you must have a stadium this size for the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal matches and on, but if we go by what you say, so a club from Albania makes it to the Champions League and UEFA will tell them to play in Greece or another country because they don't have a big stadium? Doesn't make sense.

i was looking for an article about it but didn't find any, but yeah i think u need a 30,000+ when u reach something like quarterfinals....but anyways that stadium was originally for 30,000 people, them for 26,000 and now for 24,000 next time we'll heard is for 10,000 in the final stage..!

Yea I knew it's black and white also, but the green looks more dominant.
I like your flags, especially these ones:
