His Spanish got pretty damn good within a year's time. Much unlike Mr. Beckham, who after 4 years of playing with Real was still unable to give an interview in Spanish

 

Messi made mention of Giuseppe Rossi in an article yesterday, nothing too exciting but nice to see that Rossi is being noticed by other big players:

"Rossi? I saw him against Atletico. He is a great goalscorer and he has a massive future ahead of him."

I'm amazed at the kid's ability to cut through traffic like it's no big deal. He does it time and time again in the highlights I see of him.

Though I doubt about Cassano getting a call up at this point, even though technically he deserves one.

 

i'd like to see just the fact Lippi would use a central attacking mid. he seems to retire that position after totti or something. I too would like to see more playing time from Rossi on Italy. I hope he doesn't deny rising stars like Rossi to DiNat or Aquilani to Gattuso.

Well Gattuso is necessary and plays a completely different and essential position. At the moment, Gattuso has regained his top form. This is great. Rossi and Di Natale are forwards, and Aquilani is also different in role from Gattuso. They all have openings for them at this point, they just need to stay in top form to keep them.
