Good thing Roma dont really have a world class goalkeeper because that back line is scary to me. Why do they think Camoranesi wont start?

Good question. It seems like we're changing tactics a bit also, switching from a 4-2-3-1 to a 4-3-1-2. I wonder if this is just a one match decision or a permanent change?

My Italian sucks, but here's the final: 2-2

Zebina puts in the equalizer in 87'. 2 points down the drain. :(

well Roma didn't deserve the draw. Totti could have been sent off, there was a foul on Camoranesi in the box that should have led to a penalty for Juve and that freekick should't have been awarded to Chivu. No one was fouled.

Nedved was the engine in the midfield and looked in good form....but its a shame that Del Piero had to come off so soon :( hopefully the injury isn't too serious.

im happy for Di Vaio though... good performance from him. Juve looked tired in the 2nd half.

Great save by Buffon right at the end !

the good thing is that both Inter and Milan only managed draws while Lazio lost to Parma...so Juve are still joint top.

    a month ! thats a lot of time :(

but looking at Juve's fixtures the next month it may not be that big a loss

so assuming DP is out till the 20th or so, here are the upcoming games -

    September 28 Reggina-V

    September 30 Olympiakos-V

    October 5 H-Bologna

    October 19 Ancona-V

    October 21 H-Real Sociedad

he could be back for the home game vs Sociedad.

Reggina, Olympiakos, Bologna and Ancona shouldn't be a problem.

To the contrary, I think Roma deserved the point. In the second half, Juve definitely fell back into a defensive, conservative, Muhammed Ali-like rope-a-dope mode (obvious by subbing Trezeguet with Birindelli) ... hoping to hold off the body blows. You might even say they were a little lucky not to lose that game, given the second-half chances Roma had.

After such a ferocious start, Juve looked tired. But then after playing a Champions League game a few days earlier, Lippi may have been looking to reserve some strength. Meanwhile, Roma had been gearing up for the match all week.

It's very telling that the Serie A teams went 4-0-0 in their Champions League games last week, and yet not one of them won their Serie A league games the following weekend.

I think he was originally expected to be back for this game but his recovery has been a little slow. Hopefully he'll be back for next weekend.

yeah he will be bacck next weekend for sure. He has been training. Maybe they just didn't want to risk him in such a big game.

It makes sense getting him back against easier opposition.
