Juventus plays in Turin (Torino) in the Piemonte region of Italy, which is in the northwest of the country. Here is some history including mention of the legend of how they got the wrong shirts in a shipment from England and began wearing black and white in 1903. Few more questions. Didn't Zidane play for Juve and for how long? Aren't Juve, Inter and AC the big powerhouses of Serie A? Who has dominated the league the most and who has been successful in the Champions League?
Juve have won 27 Championships while Inter have won only 13 and Milan have won only 16. So Juve are easily the most dominant force in Italy. Milan have won the champions league / european cup 6 times and Juve have won it twice (having lost in the finals 4 times(?) ) so Milan have been better in Europe overall. but Juve are the most successful club overall in Italy and were the first club to win all the major honors a club could win. and yes...Zidane played for Juve till he moved to Madrid 2 seasons ago.

Just another bit of info. The stars above the crests of some italian teams represent ten league titles that they have won. Juventus, having won 27 league titles, are the only team to have two stars. Just a few more years and we'll have three

In the 80's, they also got upset by Hamburgh in 1982.... their first European Cup came in Heysel which was a uhappy memory for Juventus. According to Platini's wife, Platini never talked about the European Cup. That victory was too sad for him.

Zidane played for Juve for five years, between from 1996-97 through 2000-2001. That was where he made a big name for himself, after leading Bordeaux to an unlikley run to the UEFA Cup final in 1996. It was while he was a Juventus player that he led France to the World Cup in 1998 and European championship in 2000. For Juventus, he played in two Champions League finals, but lost both of them. Although Juventus did win two Serie A championhips during Zidane's tenure, there was a feeling he had accomplished as much as he could with the club, and so he moved to Real Madrid, where he finally won the European crown. It's really hard to say where he's had his "best years". As for biggest rivals, Juventus is a big rival with just about every team in Italy! Their local rival has always been Torino, but they've fallen on hard times in the past decade and aren't even in Serie A at the moment. Juventus-Inter is called the "Italian derby" and Juve-Milan games are always huge. But Inter and Milan would declare each other their "biggest" rivals, ahead of Juve. Likewise with Lazio and Roma.
I've always thought that Juve's biggest traditional rivals were Inter, Roma, Torino and Fiorentina. Like SueB said, Toro have sort of fallen off the map so even though they're city rivals the animosity just isn't there. I think Fiorentina probably qualifies as the team that hates Juve the most.
