Too bad an english translation - can't work "rice a roni - porn film style" - another blow for the language of Shakespeare
Some interesting news I just read that some what relates to Cholivar. http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/soccer/story/718676.html You guys who keep up with MLS more often might already know this, but apparently Marcelo Claure(Cholis owner) and FC Barcelona want to bring an MLS team to Miami. I knew Claure was good friends with Barcelonas president and I know Claure is well connected in the Miami area so this makes perfect sense. When he bought Cholivar I always wondered why he didn't go into MLS(infant market) instead. I guess he's trying to do both. Choli is quickly becoming internationally well connected.
I knew Barcelona had an interest in Miami but did not know that CHolis owner was in the discusions as well. I too wondered why he prefered going to the Bolivian market first seeing how well connected he is in the Miami area. It makes sense and could work out. The potential is there, they are just going to have to figure our how to get fans to attend. Florida especially the miami area are known for having trouble getting people to attend their games. Interesting read, thanks for the link. any ideas for a team name?? Cholis USA haha Libertadores FC SC Libertadores
Looks like we'll know for sure if Claure and Barcelona are going to make a bid for a team, MLS introduces applicants at 5pm today
More changes, if this Barca/Claure thing goes down, theres talks of an exchange of players between the MLS side in Miami and Bolivar, same goes with trainers and all that.
