IMO they look more like the champagne, the lunar's bstard cousin.....

 

The champagne and Lunar preds both looked really similar in colour. But i think those might be the champagnes too. As the lunars were more silver in colour.

I just saw that picture on Foxsports.com and I couldn't figure out what they were. Does anyone know or are they an overly modified boot?

 

They're vapor III's with 3 adidas stripes sharpied or painted on them.

 

this is the same guy i googled him, is he wearing red vapor 2's with white tape over the nike swoosh?

 

At least he's being creative and finding different ways to cover up the swoosh.

 

Adidas probably doesn't let any guys on the team wear anything other than adidas cleats, so he just covers up logos so the most casual observer doesn't notice
