    happy trails to all!

 What can we say?? So much pre-game talks, predicts, analyze formations, players, who will be in the NT and who won't, but once again in the moment of truth- NADA!! And by mean nada I mean that we are now 4 games in a raw without scoring a single goal!! incredible! I don't know if there's any situation like that in the world, that a team has less then 0.5 goal per game. I agree that the first half was the best that we played so far, but again NO GOALS! Why can't we be the other side for a change?? the side that earns a weird goal?? Paraguay didn't do nothing but one 35 meter cross and they will go home with 3 points. Let's face it, as hard as it is, Colombia doesn't worth a world cup. If Ecuador will win Chile today, we'll be 7th.

I don't know what happened in the second half, cause it reminded me the NT of Pinto. I think the players started to get histerical for not being able to score, but it's not funny anymore! instead of praying for a win, I find myself praying to see a Colombian goal for a change. We all know these players, they are good players but they have a serious mentality problem.

I think all of oyu guys analized the game so I don't need to add, I agree with most of you. We attacked a lot in the first half, received a stupid goal in the start, can't find the net and get panic in the second half and eventually lost our 2nd straight home game. If we were happy to get 4 out of 6 at home vs. SA major NT's, we blew it when we got 0 points from 6 vs. Uruguay and Paraguay, our direct rivlas (Since we all agree that Argentina and Brazil will somehow qualify, even that they are suck).

In theory, we still have chance. last qualifiers we had 9 points after the first round and now we have 10 points. Which means that we MUST win Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Chile at home, Must win Venezuela away and need 2 points from Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay matches. Any gambles in which stadium we will take the 2 points??
I personally think that we won't qualify, since I'm not so sure about our home games. Suddenly, even Bolivia at home looks like a tough mission. After our lost to Brazil (Anyone preper for a different result??), I belive that the pressure should be off the NT and they should play much more calm, first to improve their games and trying new players for the future. The FCF need to choose a new coach (hopefully a normal one) that will start the process right now for the next years, like it was with Maturana in 1987. For me, that was the last chance. It seems like the players don't have confidence with themselves so what we should expect from them? I'm very sad, I was so confident last night, stayed awake until 3:30 a.m. just to see my NT beat Paraguay....I hope the players get themselves together and will start to play loose with no pressure. The only thing that "confort" me, is that we all know that we don't deserve this WC. It's not that we played excellent 9 matches and lost. A team that scored 4 goals in 9 games, 2 of them in FK by the way, simply doesn't deserve to qualify. You all know what will happen if we play like this in the WC. Better for us not qualify at all.

Well, I may have to satisfied with the option that Israel maybe qualify but it's not the same for me when I watched the Colombian NT in the previous WC's. (Israel plays much worst then Colombia in a much easier group).

Gentlemen, let's cheer now our greatest Colombian pride, the U-17 women NT which will be playing in New Zealand in 2 weeks. You can be sure that this NT will score, and a lot.

wtf does vargas keep getting called and starting !!!

He plays in fing BOCA NOT REAL MADRID !!!!

how many games has his dumbass cost us and our coachs still play him, at least g10 sometimes has amazing games.... think he did well yesterday but our strikers just cant score(granted villar prob best keeper in SA)

I pray for a miracle next week against Brazil and shock the world but even then its worthless because all the momentum we would gain from the win will be gone come March when we play boliva

Forget it crzd, there's no way that you are gonna get points from Brazil. Our only chance is if we don't receive any goal so we can tie 0-0 like Bolivia. Do you realize that we didn't score in the last 5 games????? (including the friendly vs. Ecuador) and we played 2 of them at home....Unfortunately our 2010 story finished. So sad, and after a good start of 8 points from possible 12, we waste it and took 2 points out of 15!!!!!!!

i still have hope... when there's only 1 game left i will consider that our team is out of the world cup... we need to call all the sub 20 of 2005 and a few of the 2003... and let them do their best...

I almost cried yesterday........ I have to stop putting myself through this, i cant stand and watch Colombia lose again..
For me Yepes and Wason were the best players on the field... Gio did well too but Lara made a mistake taking him out. The rest of the players i still dont beleive in yet.. Zuniga and Armero werent tht great never made one good cross into the area.. Bedoya and Vargas horrible passes(but Bedoya can defend ill give him tht) Guarin dont remeber much from him except tht funny ass haircut and tht one shot tht went wide.. Montero my hero from Cali didnt do anything either, i think he is to unexperienced to start just yet....

I think im not going to watch the brasil game...First game of colombia i will miss in years :( but i cant put myself through tht again

Are you serious??? We can't even score to begin with...you need to score to win games.......Brazil beats teams even when not trying. A tie could happen if we get lucky.

Well we now face one of our toughest matches but hopefully we can come away with a point if not i would still like to see Lara as coach, He got our key players to play like i havent seen them play in YEARS. Fabian Vargas was excellent and showed what he really has to offer and Guarin was another bright spot. I was unhappy with Renteria and Montero though they did not establish themselves at all i dont know how Renteria got MOTM.

We still have a chance we are only have way through the qualifiers.

Vargas excellent?????? Not quite. He's not a game changer....he's a bottleneck and always slows things down. He and Giovani make our midfield and overall attacking capability very predictable.

VARGAS HAD AN OK GAME BUT GIOVANI PLAYED EXELENT..... I ADMIT I HATE GIO BUT I ALSO ADMIT HE WAS THE BEST ON THE PITCH.. WEN LARA TOOK HIM OUT THE TEAM STARTED LOOSIN THEIR TOUCH.. I DNT LIKE RENTERIA HE TRIPS OVER THE BALL TO MUCH. ARMERO OR ZUNIGA DNT KNOW HOW TO CROSS A BALL. LETS FORGET ABOUT SUDAFRICA!!!!!!!! WE HAVE FOUR GOALS AND TWO HAVE BEEN OF A FREE KICK. WE CANT SCORE AND THATS THE POINT OF SOCCER.
