Super Cup now moved to 19th September I'm thinking of creating new threads for when new seasons start such as Kuwait in October and Hong Kong in September, maybe we can get a few more guys onboard who haven't been on BigSoccer before, or just generally spread the word of these nations that are rarely touched

Re: Jordan Football League (2008-09) (R) Jordan Super Cup Al Wihdat 2 - 0 Al Faisaly Report from www.the-afc.com AMMAN – A goal in each half from Mahmoud Shelbaieh spurred Al Wihdat to a 2-0 victory over Al Faisaly on Friday as the Amman giants won the Jordan Super Cup for the eighth time. Shelbaieh, who was also on target when Al Wihdat defeated Al Faisaly 2-0 in the 2005 Super Cup, opened the scoring for the two-time AFC Cup semi-finalists with just nine minutes gone before grabbing the second in the 62nd minute. Al Wihdat’s victory saw them claim silverware for the second time this year following their penalty shootout win over Al Baqa’a in the season-opening Jordan FA Shield final in July.

Jordan Youth Club will be a bit donhearted, as they will also fanc their chances of winning the league, but have started slowly and will have to play catchup.

Jordan Football League (2008-09) (R) Hi all, I am a Soccer Fan from Germany looking for help. Maybe this is the right place On December 2 to 9 I will be in Jordan and would like to see a football match. But it's hard to find fixtures etc. in a language I understand My first question: - Am I right that the league will have a long break after November 20? This would be sad. My second question: On http://www.jfa.com.jo/competitions/calendar_matches_ar.asp?date=12/05/2008 I found some matches in December including Al Jazeera, Al Wihdat and others (I hope I am right with this....). But this doesn't seem to be the Jordan league, right? Maybe someone can translate دوري سن 16 ? Is it a Cup? Or just Youth? Uuhh, very hard )) Thanks for your help and best regards from Germany! Erik
Re: Jordan Football League (2008-09) (R) I only know of fixtures upto the end of November at this point in time. It's more than likely a Cup competition will be played during the middle of the league season, just generally to spread the campaign out a little as theirs only 18 games. I can't translate anything for you, but i know of the Jordan Cup and Shield Cup that will be played, but can't say when!
