So that's basically what I am going to call the Victoria Cup between Magnitogorsk and New York. I know the Rangers didn't win the cup, but they did make the second round. I know it's still an exhibition match, but I doubt Metallurg will take it that way. So if FIFA can create a Club World Cup in Japan, this is ice hockey's version of it. Anyone else excited?
I don't think Metallurg takes it seriously. They're struggeling in their league and have to focus on that. The Victoria Cup will be an exciting event once the Stanley Cup Champion plays the CHL Champion and more money is involved. Until that it's an exhibition game for both regardless of what they say.
