FCD makes it 1-0 after an early free kick. Ball is swung in, a couple players whiff, and it falls to Cunningham to tap in.

    Let's go!

Don't fret, Chicago fans. We've had leads in many of our past few games that we've given up.

Supporters sound great despite only one (and a half?) blocks standing.

Cunningham scores early = bad for FCD. But maybe that's only against his former teams.....

Segares shoves Guarda who hams it up.

Still, that should be a yellow.

Stott needs to call this game both ways. If Cooper can kick the ball tackled off him and it's not a foul you can't call the same thing on Cooper against Conde.

Stott needs to die in a fire, really.

Although that was a good foul call that led to that goal.

His stock has fallen year after year. I usually see him call matches like a UFC ref.

And as I type it an Argentine has score. Fire can't afford to lose this match let alone be given a Blowout Comb at home.

New England will love this result if it stands.

This MVP debate is a whole lot of spitballing. It's unfathomable how anyone would think there's a indisputable front runner, but the perception of imaginary slights is a special quality of MLS fans. The whining over the 2004 most valuable player race was EPIC.

Wow, Dallas is playing like Brazil. Guarda from Cunningham looks like a GotW candidate for me.

Is it too soon for the blowout comb?
