Hope springs eternal. If we put all our passion and love into positivity, we may be able to will our beloved blue and gold to victory!!!!
I'm all for singing You'll Never Walk Alone during games *cough*. It sure as hell would piss Becks off haha Our fans need more passion anyway. More organized chants and whatnot.
"...'Tho your dreams be tossed and blown Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart And you'll never walk alone..." Good luck Galaxy players. We can do this.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart And you'll never walk alone, You'll never, ever walk alone. Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart I would so love to see becks face if we could actually get that going one day. The one time I heard it near the kop I got goose bumps and almost had a orgasim.. (thats right i said it) The problem being ... when it flops (and it would) i'd sour a pure memory.. Liverpool - 3 - Ports - 1 Ofcourse we could sing Anfiled road..
We're asking too much with this one, people at the game have a hard enough time trying to master the LA GALAXY chant
Any journey starts with a step. But I agree with you. I sit behind the ACB. Most of the time they sing in Spanish. I've just finally learned/memorized their Vamos, Vamos Galaxy song. I like their drum. They make it fun.
Esta noche tenemos que ganar!!!!!!!!!!! I don't want us to sing YNWA I just like the sentiment. POSITIVITY!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Jp7_TOEBBI A little song to brighten your day.(please note that this is not trolling and just a song I found to suit this thread)
If at all possible I would like to vote for YNWA at Home Depot twenty times. If not, I will settle for 19. We seriously need to get all these soccer moms and AYSO kids into the European spirit. MLS sucks way too much to "Have our own style" or something like that. Copying is totally cool with me. Being part scouse, YNWA would basically make me forget about the fact that we will most likely never win a game ever again. Check out this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7xvegPH_Lw Gives you chills don't it?
I'd much rather see Spanglish chants for our LA club, way more "representative" than YNWA. Not only that but that IS the natural style of ACB's SG. The beginning of the year we had zero spanish chants and just a bunch of recycled european stuff. Now we do a ton of spanish songs and even a hand full inspired by Turkish groups. However I agree with the poster above concerning the number of sit on our ass fans. But the only way to combat that is join ACB, Lars or Galaxians and piss all the slouchers away.
No matter how much passion us fans have; we'll never beat out a team that doesn't give a crap about the game. It would probably be going a little to far, but it almost looks like our team is trying to loose games by their lack of effort.
Could someone pass the word to the supporter groups to start up YNWA? Really guys, can we do something other than spanish chants and "LA GALAXY" over and over and over? Maybe something from Fenerbahce? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBBPoyXEOhM
What if we used something no other teams uses like Sinatra's 'Fly me to the Moon?' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rAsoLm1Ges
If we all bought tickets to different parts of the stadium and stood up, other people would be forced to stand up or leave! Also, I found another great one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dARy-PeJffM
not trolling but seeing as you seem to be looking for YNWA inspiration, the one where we outsang the CL theme tune is hard to beat. video'd from the Barca fans at Parkhead. they wait until we're finished YNWA before they put the CL theme on now.
acb sings plenty of songs over in the ga, come help us! http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=371439159 http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=386020193
Nothing against YNWA, but I am against trying to graft some other team's traditions on to our club. It's like all those high schools that adopt "On Wisconsin" as their fight song.
The way this season is going... I feel more like singing "I Hate Myself For Loving You" by Joan Jett and the BLackhearts.Pretty much because I can never seem to walk away... I just sit there is disbelief as we fall apart.... And yet... I still love this team...
