Cant wait for this game, it will be live on Rai and on ESPN360 here in the US.
Foxsoccer is going to show track& field event.., Arsenal - Newcaste! :)
I like Udine cause of D'Agostino mainly, I think he is brilliant, and should be the guy to replace Pirlo in case of need, and actually Italy needs him also.
Also Floro Flores, was Incredible with Arezzo, I hope this year he gets more playing time here, and also Alexis Sanchez, quality !

I see that Udinese hasn't missed a beat over the summer break....they will be tough again this year. Of course they won't win the scudetto but they could be a spoiler for many clubs.

    Isla is Chileno ?!!!
As for Udinese, they have one of the best playmakers out there, in D'Agostino, and
    Mr Nazionale was brilliant !
    Insane goal , the 2nd !
As for Alexis Sanchez , he should be playing!
Pepe sucks! I am guessing he's related to Marino, cause even last year he was playing ahead of Floro-Flores and Gyan .
Next game for Udinese is against Juve, and as much as I hate to admit it, unless Felipe and Zapatta return, they will probably loose with that horrible defense!
Today great goal by Gilardino ! Viola 1 - 1 Juve

    Re: Udinese 2008-2009 [R]

Havent been following Udinese this season but how has Isla's performance been? I noticed he is a starter now and his very young age, and in what position has he played in Udinese?

Also, was wondering if Udinese fans know anything about the other Chilean Nicolas Corvetto?

And bout Sanchez, Udinese will take care of their investment, he has already, what, multiplied his value 8 times since u guys got him?

Cheers and good luck, hope u guys make it to the UEFA.

    Hi guys,
I am supporter of Borussia Dortmund, Udine's next opponent in UEFA cup round 1. As I am writing for a BVB fanzine I am looking for Udinese Calcio fanpages and fans to get in contact with. Any ideas?

9.5 "perche i due gol perssi, l'ha fatto con un certo effetto, col gusto, con il stile giusto ! " That's my review :D

    He f**** sucked !
missed to goals, not as bad as Peppe though.
Usually Gazzetta and Controcampo giv the best votes, but still most of them are bad.

    Re: Udinese 2008-2009 [R]

Isla played the whole match , the 1st and only match Udinese have played so far. He plays in a 3 man midfield, alongside D'agostino and Inler. Nothing special honestly with that first match. Maybe because D'Agostino is too good, maybe because Palermo werent that good also, but for that match he didnt do anything special. He was ok, held his own.
Alexis Sanchez should defiently play, but I guess Marino is related to Pepe, cause even though he sucks he still plays !
Tough , cause Sanchez is quality !

    Hi

Does anyone know how old Udinese President Franco Soldati is? I guess from his picture that he is around late 40s early 50s but can't find an exact date of birth anywhere :S

Cheers for the help if anyone knows.

yes, and Antonio Floro-Flores scored the first !
He played very well against Juve also !
I dont kno why Marino doesnt start him alongside DiNatale and Alexis Sanchez, they are the best attaking trio they have !

I didn't think that Udinese would win so comfortably and Marino even rested Di Natale and Quagliarella!

It would be shame if they choked now but Sanchez had enough chances to score and put the tie out of Dortmund's reach.

Sanchez was unlucky I heard...when he starts converting his chances he's going to become unstopable...he needs a few goals to get himself going...
