I would have never imagined Kahn to play his last game as a professional in India!!!..Amazing.
End of an era - thats all I've got to say.

    Danke, Olli!!

There is still the testimonial against the German NT in the fall.

His farewell game is next week.

I liked this quote by reputable political journalist Kurt Kister on the occasion of Munich's 850th anniversary:

Only in Munich Oliver Kahn could become the greatest living philosopher in town.

damn, seeing his picture in the paper and seeing him playing again makes me sad :( I miss the guy, and want him back. This has nothing to do with Rensing, I just miss the guy

He was a legend, not always for the right reasons, but he had a hell of a career. It's an end of an era for German football. However, the new era begins with Adler, Neuer, Rensing. Should be a nice follow up to the history of Kahn, but I will miss the as#hole comments that Kahn made all the time. Especially post game interviews and flying kung fu kicks.

A great keeper and a total head the ball ( as we say in Ireland )
    Will be sadly missed.
