Celtic-Rangers , Sunday August 31st, 12:30 GMT, Celtic Park Mo Edu's debut for Rangers may come at Parkhead in the Old Firm Derby. Walter Smith has indicated this week that if he trains today, he will be in the squad. DaMarcus Beasley, fresh off having a sub appearance game winning goal wrongfully disallowed last week, speaks about the match, his fitness, and the Old Firm here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTl4xHu0zhE This also includes highlights and slow mo of the offside decision that ruled out his strike against Aberdeen. Beasley is in contention to start after recovering from an early week virus, and may feature at left or perhaps right wing. He did come on as a sub in the first OF match last season. Edu will likely appear in the second half at defensive midfield or perhaps RB if winger Aiden McGeady is not adequately contained. If both feature simultaneously, it would be the first time that Rangers have two Yanks on the pitch, and the first for an Old Firm derby as well.
I saw the goal, good strike by Beasley, but what an awful call. He was clearly onside, and that is 2 points out the window for Rangers. Anyways, Rangers Celtic always a great game, but with Beasley, and Edu making his debut, should be very entertaining.
Sky Sports just reported that it is doubtful that Edu will make his debut for Rangers against Celtic as he was late arriving in Glasgow due to Zoom airlines pretty much going out of business.

That was a thing of beauty for Cousin. Amazing brilliant run, he really varied his speed and the kicked it in gear when he cut into the area. Just As I type Celtic level. wow what a terrible attempt at a clearance by Papac. Yikes that was bad!
