I think Thorington scored that goal while sleepwalking.

Seriously though, neither team is impressive. LA should be glad they are playing a team thats trying to sort themselves out offensively at the moment.

Hopkins isn't his usual Carlton Banks/Yes Man self tonight. No Beckham around does that.

Does Arena often wonder at times "why the heck do I keep coming back to this"?

Gutierrez is freaking awful. How bad can one player's passing be?

I was worried about coming here and spoiling the beach volleyball result. No worries, ESPN covered that for me. Good thing everything is being shown live on the west coast where many of the viewers are.

The Fire should trade Rolfe. He doesnt fit into their current system, and will fetch them good value.

Rolfe to LA for Klein? Not a bad idea.

That's a horrible trade for Chicago.

I was thinking more along the lines of acquiring an attacking midfielder, to play alongside Blanco, and a speedy forward.

Something like Ballouchy+Cummings for Rolfe as the core of the deal. Add ballast on whichever end to make it doable,

I dont know. Im tired. Thats probably a bad deal. Point being, thats the kind of deal, where Chicago is looking for guys who can add something to their team, and enhance their current team.

Nyarko is the speedy forward, just needs a bit more experience. Anyway, the point is that Rolfe really is not an untouchable player any more, and the right trade could help us win a title.

    Uh . . .no.

We don't need another Ballouchy, we already have a Balushi.
