I'd have had him off at half time. Waste of space. Franklin and Vanney obviously had better things to do than try and stop a goal being scored. Only Roberts seems to react to anything defensively. Kept McBride very quiet as well all game.

i actually felt up until the last 5 minutes or so tudela was doing quite well. he was making smart simple passes and keeping possession well. then he had one really heavy touch lost the ball and.. i don't know lost his confidence or something.

I'd say the fault for the first goal belongs to the whole back line. They were waaaaay too far north to be effective in helping to block that attack.

I stand by them though. compared to expectations our defense has played well. it,s not the defense fault that allen turned the ball over needlessly yet again. we knew with the lineup we had we'd have to be lucky against a very good chicago team and it doesn't look like its gonna happen.
