Just got back from the doc. Apparently I can either keep the immobilizer on and lose the crutches... or I can lose the immobilizer and use the crutches. I hate the immobilizer. But I still put it on to do stuff that needs the use of both of my hands. THoughts on which is better? Immobilizer or crutches?
http://wnt-ussoccer.blogspot.com/2008/08/cross-training.html great video of the uswnt hanging out with the US womens basketball and volleyball teams. Some of these chics got game.
Crutches can totally be used as a weapon!!! I go to the school of immobile = bad (with the exception of when something actually MUST be immobilized to set properly), so I'd personally want to get rid of that ASAP. Can't you keep the immobilizer and use it as needed instead of the crutches as times? Is he making you give it back or something?
I'm glad you posted this Tide. I was going to but I can't bring the news quite like you can. To me it's one of the funniest and most interesting vids that the blog has posted thus far.
i tried to give you rep, i clicked it like 99283475 times. so either you got no rep or a hell of alot.
can you take the immobilizer off at night and keep movement? i dunno how it works. i ahve to take my cast off at night and do ankle excercises so i don't lose mobility. but i do hate crutches with a firey passion. i always use them wrong so they hurt mah 'pits.
eff that. we have a bad history of human rights abuses too. we put the ******** in concentration camps in ww2 AND AND we put natives in forced schools where they couldn't speak their native tongue and were abused. see, were totally worthy. plus i just said ********.
Yeah... I have both the crutches and the immobilizer. I use both depending on the situation. Just trying to get a opinion on which one I should be using more.
No racial slurs for you! ---- In related news...is it bad that I'm totally a Yukiko Ueno fan? RAWR!! ---- In other related news...has anyone figured out how to actually capture the streaming video online. I'm finding that my video capture software is capturing only a scrambled stream. NBC is too crafty for me.

SHUCKS! Ya for sure. you open your doohickey and then use your whatchamathing to tap into the whatchamacallit and then hit record and you are good to go!

considering everyday is mens morning/noon/night, maybe we're owed at least one night. AND on that note, how about black history month then? if he wants to take it that far. i want a white history month. infact, i want a white woman history month. with posters. and handouts. he can kiss my ass.
PAUL. Read this and learn something. Strategic violations: the outsourcing of human rights abuses For example: And one of my favorite parts (bold emphasis mine): The U.S. has a looooong way to go before any of us can point fingers at other countries. A loooooooooooooooooooong way to go.
Can you say Vic Morrow? Hrm, kinda like "enemy combatants" in Guantanimo. Coincidence? Then again, there are US citiznes being held.
You want to get movement as early as possible, and limit range of motion loss. If you are even partially weight baring on crutches, you should be able to do so. Also, if you are walking without crutches while wearing the immobilizer, you are leaving yourself open to having hip/low back issues because of the altered gait with the immobilizer. AND...the altered gait with the immobilizer is going to be much more difficult to retrain once you are full go again. Muscles have memory, and you'll get a great demonstration of that if you have the altered gait for too long.
Well, we get to see her, and the rest of Japan Softball again since they have some weird way of deciding what teams get to the Gold Medal game. I will be up at 2am watching, then staying up to watch the Gold Medal soccer game. I am SO going to be toast tomorrow.
