Phew...I couldn't wait for that whistle!

Scary moments, but in the end a well-fought result!

Back to the salt mines. Enjoyed it. Thanks for providing the visuals that MatchWrecker (TM) couldn't.

It was a good game, if a somewhat strange one. Now, onto one of Japan or China :)

i feel like every game we get better at a few things. Today midfield played so much better and we played through midfield most of the games. Next game, we need to work on finishing;)

Oh, please. Can't we get over hair, tats, and earrings? This was the fighting soul of the U.S. team! It's mojo! It's majesterial! Watch out, Brazil and/or Germany! We're coming!

I was thinking that too. Abby or Brandi was always good as the enforcer.

<<Followed by and nice like dance feature with>>

Followed by a truly embarrassing, dumb-ass dance that should be verboten by the overlords of world soccer and stricken from all replays from now til eternity.

What was Pia thinking of, leaving Hucles in (who couldn't hit a barn door) and bringing on Heath (who couldn't even see the barn)??

    Come back Wagner!

    Leave Wagner out of this.
Although Brandi thought she could work during the end of the game to control and possess.

Well at least she didn't rip off her jersey and run around in her sports bra. That is truely a celebration that the overlords of world soccer have stricken from all replays from now until eternity. ;)

You can question the appropriateness of that celebration, but at least the timing was better. The match had been won.

When I saw Kai do her dance I was like "oh geez, what is this sh--" But come to think of it, she adds character and personality to the team that will transcend into dollar$ at the gate for the WNT and WPS. Fans will come to see Natasha Kai when her team rolls into town. IMHO since Mia and the gang left, this team has been short on personality. Paint drying has had more personality. Whether you like the tattoos or not, dancing or not, she at least draws attention and IMO, not necessarily bad attention.
