For what it's worth, West Brom were called the "Arsenal of the championship" last season. So who knows, maybe they'll actually try to play against us.

It's happened in the past, I remember Reading attempted that two seasons ago...it was nice for us, 4-0 I think it finished.

    EDIT

What are the chances that Wenger makes his signing before this match?

Also...surely there will be a stream for this match? 4:30am isn't sounding too good right now, but it must be done. :)

wenger will probably go with a straight 4-4-2. eboue and theo on the wings, and nasri and denilson in the middle. nasri/denilson could be an interesting combo in the middle. did they play much together in the middle in the pre-season?

hopefully west brom comes out and plays a little instead of putting 10 behind the ball.

first game of the season can be a little tricky. but, we should score early, and win comfortably. 3-0 to the arsenal.

Hopefully our keeper won't gift a goal in the opening minute this year.

2-0...late goals by Bendtner and TW14.

    My first live Arsenal game.....

    3 days away....

I cannot wait for this game, i don't care what the score is, as long as we get three points.

By the time Rosicky's match fit, our current calendar will have fallen out of common use.

Yes. Stay tuned for its replacement, which is rumored to be based on allowing United as much stoppage time at Old Trafford as possible. We're talking days on end if the planetary alignment is just so.
