If the 06s didn't snap I'd probably buy them.

They fit exactly the same, maybe the puma is just microns shorter than Adidas but it feels the same.

I have the puma v3.06 leather boots in a 9.5, which fit fine in the store with my regular socks. but i was disapointed to find that i had to wear double socks with my soccer socks for the boots to fit. they fit great for the first couple weeks of play. but today, my friggin insoles CAME OUT OF MY BOOT!!! WHILE I WAS PLAYING IN THEM!!! the stupid thing tends to move around a lot but today it actually came out and rose up my ankle during play!! it seems the boots fit great new but the leather has streched so much my insoles come out!! if anyone has any tips to make these boots fit and/or keep my insole in place please let me know!!! thanx

Stick it down with tape on the underside...

Just got my V1.08's in yellow...

First impression, Great looks, weight and it seems that 99.9% of the boot is actually plastic...

Anyway, got some keep ups and dribbling going, great feel of the ball and good grip on the ball and the studs in the ground...

Then I got some shooting in, very strange toe box...
A few shots it got in the way with it chipping the ball way up in the air, apart from that, some good shooting.

Comfort is good straight out of te box for me :)
Shooting is okay apart from the chipping
    Dribbling is great
    Protection is good
    Weight is good
Grip is good/ Studs are good

Overall in the 30 mins I've been wearing them...

    8/10
    I got them for £60

Its a great site with cheap boots that ARE genuine. :D

Nice. keep us updated on the performance of the boot. I fell in love with v1.06s, but because if the durability issues, I can't keep investing in them. So I have been thinking about the 1.08s for awhile now but I have not found an adequate review. If you could keep us posted that would be sweet. Thanks man.

    My Puma boot experience.

V-Konstrukt's - durable but lose softness early.
King exec - not durable whatsoever but very soft K-leather. They kept ripping by the sole so I superglue them like after every wear but they're still working.
New King XL's - didn't fit my feet right so although I got them for free I have no idea what to do with them. If anybody wants them let me know they're size 11.

If anybody has any tips to help keep the Konstrukts soft that would be great. I've tried mink oil but it doesn't seem to be helping. I love these cleats and would love to extend the softness of the leather.

i tried the new king xl anniversary edition at a local shop. they are quiet narrow for my fat feet, the toebox also felt awkward.

im still undecided if i should buy them or not, i really like how they look.

maybe they will stretch widthwise after couple of wears

Man this sucks, as soon as I was having fun with my new King Execs I have to go and sprain my ankle. As soon as my ankle gets better I'm going to give them a real go. My initial impressions were that they are very easy to break in and have great traction. Hopefully I don't run into the durability problems many have seen.

I got my execs around early may and they have already started to rip and there is considerable sole separation.

I didn't even get that much use out of them. I used them only a handful of times during June and July. Anybody know if i send them to puma they would replace them?

i just got some v1.08's and i cant wait to rock them... i wasnt even in the market for new boots but i came across an offer i couldnt pass up...the thing is i have 2 pairs of v3.06's im currently using that are still in good shape... so it might be a little bit before i actually wear the 1.08's.. but i tell u what, i feel like a kid leading up to christmas time just waitng for the day i can open that box...lol... i got the blue and white colorway, they look very sharp... is it wrong i open the box everyday just to look at them and smile?... i think im in love...haha..

but the few impressions ive had so far, i have yet to be dissapointed... i was a little worried about the toe-box but walkin around the house in them, it doesnt seem to bother me..we'll see when i actually start playing with them..

im happy they did put this toe-box on the 1.08's to increase durability... that was my main beef with the 1.06's, their lack of durability.. so i went with 3.06's for their increased durability...

and for all the puma veterans, am i the only one who has become spoiled with the lightness of puma boots? it seems like i cant go back to traditional weighted boots now... i cringe at anything that is above 9 oz's... i wore my bro's predators for a pick up game and it felt like i was wearing cement boots... i dont ever realistically see myself switchin from puma..

I'm about to buy 1.08's myself, also in yellow.

Can't wait to try them out with actual kicks. I walked around the store and they were comparable in comfort and fit to the pairs of Predator Manias I've owned over the years, and they are as light if not lighter than my Vapors.. and with no real leather I am thinking "best of both worlds"...

    can't wait!

no chance dude, i only used my execs for about 3 months; everyone that i know that has/had execs agrees that the durability sucks.

    review for Puma V3.08 fg

    Aesthetics: 9/10

Got them in the black grey colour. looks awesome imo, very sleek and streamline. The white outline of the puma cat looks cool as well on the instep. The asymmetrical lacing and the tongue makes the boot look like a glove wrapped on your foot. only thing i didnt like is the red studs, shouldve painted them black imo. Basically looks like v1.08 without the weird toebox.

    Comfort: 9/10

Very stiff initially. My big toe hurts when i wore them for the first time. I stuffed the toebox with newspaper for a whole day to loosen them up. Full grain leather combines very well with the plastic bits. Boot fits amazingly with my wide foot. They fit better than legends imo. They are really comfy once you break them in.

    Performance: 9/10

Very good boot. No gimmicks. Good touch and good traction. Quiet light as well. The full grain leather is kinda thick so it helps with touch and shot power. Overall very good boot, kinda wish the leather is abit thinner because my foot becomes very sweaty after an hour.

    Value: 10/10

At less that $100 USD this boot is better than legends and R10 for wide foot folks IMO. I would even take this boot over the V1.08 because i prefer the toebox on these. I think ill stick to these for a while a better boot comes out.

    Overall: 10/10

For all wide footed people out there with a long big toe. GET THIS BOOT RIGHT NOW! it the best out there right now for the money, trust me ive tried all of them out there.
