In my opinion, The Adidas Powerswerves are too narrow in the front for my feet,so I went with the K Leather Laser II's and I'm very happy with them. The touch in them is great and I also have a little more power and swerve in my free kicks. I haven't had them long enough to really give them a test but they are holding up fine as of right now.
Another question. Nike Air legend II or Nike total90 laser I? I play winger and forward. Which one should I get?

Hello all. I am looking for a boot that is light but does not neglect touch for a shot. i was looking into Puma v1.06 since the k leather version is 7.8 ounces which is really light. The 2 boots i have now are Puma King Classic, and Nike mercurial vapor iii FG. I like my puma kings a lot, snuggle, but there kinda heavy. And my mercurial vapors are half a size big so there terrible atm. Plus i dont like the hard plastic on the MViii. So answers will be appreciated, got 190 dollars spendable, thanks.

Well i have a pair of the v1.06 k-leahter, they are one of the sweetest pair of boots i own other then my manias, if you want a light pair of boots i'd pick the v1.06 as i owned a pair of Iv vapors which i soon got rid of due to the fact i didn't like them and my v1's were so much lighter it is unbeleivable also they have a carbon fiber sole, which if you want that you have to pay a lot more for sl vapors, striking the ball in v1's for me is pretty darn good as the laces are on the side and the top of the boot smooth, only problem about v1's is that they have a reputation of not lasting too long, however mine have lasted through the whole season and i still love them. I havn't tried them out for myself yet but, if you want a light boot, k-leather, have at look at adiPures also!
Not getting the vapor 4's i went to a shop 40 mins away from me and saw them, to me there just like the Vapor III with the tiny thin strapover the laces.and the v1.06 was to narrow for my foot. * shrug * guess im sticking with puma kings.
im about to get a pair of the IVs here soon ive been hearing a lot about going a size down im a size 11 in the III and i have about a thumb space between my toe in the end should i get 11 in IVs or 10?
you have a thumb space in your III, i'd say if you get a 10 they will fit the same mayb a tiny bit smaller than that.

i'm goin to go ahead and suggest synthetic lasers, either I's or II's (i've owned both and love both) reason: -durable -light -good touch -improves shooting (i swear, imo) -comfort -wont over stretch (if u want a little more stretch get the leather ones) -pretty
i'd say , go for the king xl's , i think they look great , theyre really comfy , and well , with the red ones , you get an awesome leather bag .
And the leather bag ahah, i'vev never worn them myself but if you play with speed go for the adipures as they are lighter than all the others. Also they are a great boot... so i have heard. I take it your not interested in Vapors, V1s or F50s as they are all the obvious choice for a speed player who wants light boots.
thanks for the sugesstions. and no im not interested in the vapours or f50s. i tried vapours once and they were light and good to run in but i was constantly getting injured as they are soooooo light, as for f50s i just dont like them that much.i think im going to go for the adiPUREs as i have also heard good things about them. i might go for the white and blue ones.thanks oh and i have a good sujestion to anybody who wants to keep their shinpads in place without using tons of tape and sock ties and so on. just buy a pair of shinpads without ankle gaurds ( i would sugest adidas predator lite ones) with an adjustable strap at the top and bottom of the pad. simply use tape on the inside of your socks over the top and bottom strap. your pads will stay in place and no one will know you were wearing tape at all.

i have a 9.5 in the legend Is and a 10 in the powerswerves...im assuming the sizing is about the same for the legend I's and II's. however, no guarantees, and it may also be important to note that i have flat feet (if that makes a difference?)
