Did I hear right that Cesc got injured and out for two weeks?!

Gunners need to be on top again, I can't take another season like last premier league

Well, at least the strikeforce is experienced, and half of the back line. well, I'm confident in 1/2 of them, but 3/4 of them have experience, perhaps Gallas will turn it around this season.

the wide mids need to track back better.

Really hoping that this is the beginning of a season where Theo finally lives up to the hype. A goal today would be a nice start for him.

Why is Djourou playing on the left side of the CB pairing? I'd rather have him on the right so that Sagna can over. Clichy isn't as good at helping the CBs when needed.

We're already struggling with the outlet pass. Figured it would be a problem with our cmid issues and the style Twente was likely to play. Need to give our midfield some space by pushing their defense back with some dangerous balls over the top.

Nice interception by Ramsey. Shame he gave it right back.

A lot of players changing places. Looks a bit confused.

Twente are fired up but there are gaps there...whether our mids can take advantage of them is another issue.

I wonder if Bergkamp is in the stands. I know hes at Ajax doing his manager stuff, maybe hes watching us. I miss him.

Some better passing from our boys ends with Adebayor going around his defender but not taking the ball...they counter but it leads to nothing.

The early pressure on our players in possession is already ebbing.

I'd be willing to bet that McClaren has the best record against Wenger of any manager outside of Ferguson, Mourinho and maybe Allardyce (a "bugaboo" of Wenger).

PS To answer a previous question, on ESPN2-HD, the match is 4x3 and the usual European slightly better resolution than SD, but not HD.

Long run from Djourou but the ball to Eboue is a bit short and back so Twente jumps on it. I would have like some of the forwards to get up there but they were all falling back.

Sloppy play from us so far, but nothing overtly concerning...

I think Vela could help out with that, not that I am biased on anything.
