Well another month has gone by and the Bulls only secured a measely 2 points during July... Hopefully August will be better at least as far as MLS games are concerned... The Bulls have 12 MLS games left this season....a possible 36 points. 7 of the last 12 games are at home. They need at least 21 points more to sneak into the playoffs IMO. That would give them 43 points. I am not holding my breath...if it happens it happens. If this team wants to go anywhere they have to win some games on the road and win as many as possible at home and I am just not so sure that will happen this year. The game vs Barca two years ago was a lot of fun even though the Bulls got blasted 4-1! I am expecting more of the same this year... although the parking situation will be much worse than it was two years ago with all the construction taking place. BTW...I read Jimenez finally got his permit and Chichero got his Visa so they hopefully will be worked into the team during the next 9 days!
Are you kidding me: Isn't room for Jimenez, Boyen will be ready, so, where the hell will he play... Osorio will not seat Boyen for no body, is the start of the team.... (I still piss up)
Jimenez will take the place of Goldy on the left and Chichero will take Boyens place in the middle...
I think Boyens is going to play up top as our second striker, just to prove there is one player in MLS that can play that position worse than Etchaverry.
Hey, hey, hey..No give ideas to the chief, he don't need new ones for no body, he knows how to do it... Here the line up (Osorio one) ............Conway Leifch.......Parke.....Goldy ...Boyen...............Pietra ....Magee ..Rojas.....DVDB ...........Wolly......Angel That's Osorio dream team for a win.... With this team, who need Cichero and Jimenez...
Some good updates on Brian Lewis's blog... Etch out for year...and Chichero looks very good to him... http://blogs.nypost.com/sports/soccer/
It should be fun no matter what; but if Barca play their full first team our guys (whoever they may be) are gonna get hammered
Nah it wont be that bad. Barcelona is just here to jog around a bit, smile for the cameras, touch the ball a few times and take their paycheck. They are not here to embarass us.
I hope the game is similar to last time. Barca did not hold back, and Red Bulls did not bunker. A very entertaining game.
Very good I at times feel that RBNY (the organization, NOT the players) is indeed out to embarass us, the fans
It has got to be an error, unless this is some sort of farewell match no one has yet advertised....BUt if by any chance we need to rest players, he might at least prove useful one final time (of the few times he has been these last couple of years)
well watching fcb vs chivas and it's 5-2 with barcelona basically controlling the whole game. They said in the begining 45 thousand tickets were sold, but it looks like a lot more than that.
Let's hope we can bring more of the same this week. Barca looked strong in Chicago and I wonder if our current squad is as unified as that Chivas team. Irrespective of the outcome, I am looking forward to the match! Seems like forever since we've been at the swamp.
