Maor Buzaglo: Where should he go?

Discussion in 'Israel' started by Beitar Jerusalem, Jan 13, 2008.

  1. Maor Buzaglo has sent in a request to have his military service shortened, citing that he has offers to join many clubs. We all know which ones those are, but where would this tremendous talent be best off?

West Ham is a good mid-level team, and if they are interested in Buzaglo I would go there, could you imagine how good they might be if they still had tevez and benayoun back for this season?

I would prefer that he go to Zagreb or Belgium. In those leagues he would be a star and guarunteed playing time. It would prepare him for a move to Italy, England or Spain when he will be ready.

  4. I am surprised that you didn't ask that Haifa be added to the list since he said to RadioOne that he would consider returning to play for Maccabi Haifa this season.

That would be awesome if Buzaglo came back to Haifa! We would be the scariest team in the league. If Beitar can't convince Yoav Ziv not to go to F.C. København, then they will have a lot of trouble retaining the title. Don't get me wrong, Romulo is great. But Tammuz is out of form/wanted by so many teams in Europe, Ben Shushan has not played enough, Itzhaki left for KRC Genk and the Tvrtko Kale hasn't been in top form this season. Looks like he is a solid keeper, but not national team material in the end. Too bad too, looks like his efforts to get Israeli citizenship will do him no good but right the wrong of his grandmother marrying out:p.

Still, so many votes for Buzaglo to take the West Ham United offer. Why? Just because Yossi Benayoun did so well there doesn't mean a thing. Don't forget that Yaniv Katan was there for half a year and did nothing!

I think he will go to Haifa but the more players we get in England, the better. If he can go to West Ham it will be great and we need as many players in Europe as possible. That is where they will get good training and our country will get more exposure along with a better national team.

I would like Maor Buzaglo to go to the EPL. He has so much potential, also Ben Sahar may have made a great choice to go to Portsmouth.
