Unknown Hinson is at Jammin' Java in Vienna this Thursday. If there are any Adult Swim fans out there, Unknown Hinson is the voice of Early from Squidbillies. His music is hysterical and his voice is the exact same as on the show. When I listen to his CD, I always picture that redneck squid.

You all missed a great show. ElonChick and I had a blast!!! He's a scary looking dude, but he was actually a good guy. His songs are hillarious and he was a much better guitar player than I though. Quite a mixture of people. Rednecks, bikers, and a bunch of cartoon watching nerds, like myself. Everyone knew the music pretty darn well, too. Lindsay, I still think you should have gotten him to sign your breasts! Can't wait to get the pics!

I know it's huge in DC and I'm sure I'll get some slack for posting this BUT Some people I work with play WAKA Kickball together out in Herndon/Reston and we just had our first successful season (where we finished last on the field but FIRST at the bar). We are playing the summer league, which starts the Wed/Thurs after the week of July 4th. Its $65 to join for a season, and includes shirts, discounts at the bar, and our mid & end of season parties. Our league is super competitive but alot of fun. I assume there are some folks in the Barra that like the Hold Steady... I have two tickets to see them at Ram's Head in Baltimore this Thursday that I can't use because I'll be out of town.
