UKsoccershop is offering free shipping until the 13th with the code ARSENAL0809 It's $82.44, with shipping from the UK that's not too bad a deal.

take it for what it's worth, but i would highly suggest avoiding uksoccershop.

they've got a horrible reputation of using fake printing, and it's not unusual for them to take up to 3 months to ship an item.

That's still alot for the hoops. Usually it seems like the price drops drastically when they sell out of all the mediums and larges. In the past i picked up XL jerseys for 10 or 13 pounds.

Thanks for posting that up there Jeff.

You haven't by any chance got the chance to see how much JJB is doing it for? Because a friend of mine bought mine for me there, and he says it cost him 45gbp.

I've got a feeling he's trying to make some bloody money out of me!

I am sure that they will drop a bit more the nearer we get to the start of the season.

I will check on JJB the next time I pass one. At a town near to me it's almost opposite "Soccer World". That price sounds expensive unless he has added on posstage perhaps. It's not that price in the club shop. I am sure all last season's kits will drop further in price once the yellow shirt comes out on sale.

I was at JJB in Oxford the other day and all of last season's shirts were 25 GBP. I picked up a short sleeve version of last years home kit (already had the long sleeve) for 22.49 at Sports World.

I didn't think you could get the new yellow away unis yet, but I went into a local soccer shop here in SLC and there it was. They didn't have XL, so they ordered one for me, should have it soon. It's a beauty.

Its pretty amazing they would have them before the official release. I think some Niketown stores here have had new shirts really fast or even early.

    Yeah, Soccer International.
If I remember correctly, they had a small, medium and a large.

After seeing the away kit in person...my amibivalence towards it remains...guess i'll just have to wait to see what the new home kit looks like in person...

How are you ambivalent towards a kit that is quintessential Arsenal?
Yellow and blue away colors are very much a part of the team's lore.

    Did you prefer the white?

I went to a shop Thursday, they didn't have anything yet. Worse yet, they had last seasons stuff all at full price still. Pft.

I have to say that I really am not a huge fan of the new home kit. It does remind me of one kit from the dreamcast sponsored years. I much prefer last year's home kit and I'm glad I have it instead.

As far as away kits, I'm not sure about the red lettering and red stripe. Otherwise, it seems nice enough. The yellow shirt and blue shorts from 03/04 (i think) were slightly sharper looking.

Unless the 3rd kit is something amazing, I won't be buying an Arsenal shirt this year.
