Blatter is such a silly cunt. Where the hell do FIFA find these guys?

Not going to happen, our main priority right now should be adding a striker.

    Start winning again?

Last time I checked, Barca won in '06 and Milan and '07. One year of United winning is having a "grip" on the CL?

In their eyes, yes... It not so much the winning it, its the monopolising of the quarter final and semi final stages that stick in their throats...

I simply cannot put into words the utter contempt that I hold Sep Blatter in right now. I mean, I really hate that man.

Last time I checked Sepp, cotton pickers were not getting paid £100,000 a week, sponsored to the tune of £5m a year and given the opportunity to play infront of millions of adoring people week in, qeek out? No, last time I checked, slaves were tied up, kidknapped, beaten, starved, stripped of their identity, their religion and their idependance and worked to the bone for 22 hours a day.

A slow and painful death would be too good for this horrible little man.

Barca has been nothing but supportive of United in this whole matter. Some of it might be self-interest (they want to make sure their stars don't get any ideas and perhaps they'd rather not see Ronaldo in La Liga), but to pretend like we're part of some worldwide conspiracy against United...

These comments are in complete contrast to those he made just a few months back in response to the decision made on Andy Webster by CAS.

    At the time he said

    http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/scotland/article3285825.ece

    And on Ronaldo he said

    and

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/7499028.stm

Surely this isn't a touch of double standards from Blatter.

Is that really a surprise coming from Blatter? The man just needs a reason to attack English football.

I think someone should kidnap his ass and enslave him for a few months for making such a stupid comment.

No, I'm not joking. I'm flipping well serious. He needs to be toiling in the fields. What a complete ass. In one breath he's managed to trivialize one of the most damaging aspects of human interaction and the concept that keeping your word is sacred. He's not fit to be fed to pigs.

A silly comment from Blatter. What a stunner. This man's credibility is lower than Bush's when trying to justify invading Iraq. I'd be surprised if any of the people in favor of the move cite Blatter's comments.

    Outrageous.

The position he is taking is clearly not one you can defend. Players are employees on contracts, not slaves. They should complete the requirements of their contracts or not sign them. If you do away with contracts, or increase the power of players to get out of contracts, it will impact on club football negatively. The balance is hardly that bad now. By and large if players really want to leave, they usually do.

This is pretty blatant double standard, anti-english / anti-united rhetoric.

Apart from Father Ted's previous email ;). But seriously how does a FIFA President get away with being named an honorary member of a football club when he holds such a high position at FIFA. This just proves how he is using his power to lever a deal for a club he has obvious interest in...

    He needs to go now...

it's on video. was on ssn. He couldn't back track even if he tried, his english is very good - sadly for him. He should be made to resign, wouldn't surprise me.

Some of the madrid fans will be cool, but the rest without two braincells to rub together to make a fire will just laugh it off like the prats they are.

It's disappointing but hardly suprising. Just when things were becoming rational, platini and now fathead have created this situation

Instead of a player being calm and talking over his issues - created by madrid - they have encouraged the wounds not to heal and that is disgusting.

A lot of bad things with this, I don't see how he can remain in charge

Not to be too contrary, but why should Ronaldo (or any player) be used to preserve 'club football'? Blatter pretty clearly says that he would err on the side of helping the player, not helping the club. Calling it slavery is too much, but saying that Ronaldo has to do something because it would hurt Man Utd ( or premier league soccer, or FIFA, or UEFA) otherwise is a bit too much, imo*. Ronaldo may want to change clubs. That's his perogative; it's been done before. Contracts are broken and people move on.

    * I feel the same way about college football, btw.

My theory is that Blatter wants the clubs' power reduced by whatever means necessary. If that means increasing the players' power, that's a trade he'll make.

this is how transfers are done madrid.

first your club make an offer to the club and if they accept yay

If not, maybe offer more money - you know negotiate....

if a club says more then once to ******** off...don't get platini and blatter involved.

    calderon used the word slave

and blatter used the word slave

God, what are the chances....:) I didn't think the world could survive harboring two such ********ing retards. It's amazing......
