I would agree definitely but he isn't the be all and end all.

The difference is the long shots on goal the Russians try. That keeps Casillas on his toes. It's enough for one of them to get a rebound, with one of the Russian forwards nearby, and it's a goal.

I thought Guiza had a pretty bad game against the italians.

Maybe Aragones wants to use him as a sub for Torres again...

Because he singlehandedly seemed to destroy the Dutch?

Well we have a game now, I'm kind of doubtful that was a cross from Iniesta, but still a beautifully worked goal nonetheless, Spain had come out the better side.

What the heck was that, Torres? He's so bad, Villa would have buried that!

Erm, did the ESPN commentator just say "Akinfeyev losing out to...". Pretty sure Akinfeyev was in goal, not fighting a Spanish player for the ball over by the corner.

Ok, if Xavi/Cesc/Iniesta will try to make dashes into the penalty box like that, then Guiza certainly isn't needed as yet.

Now we're seeing the Spanish of the group stage. The goal has given them such a confidence boost. I wouldn't be surprised if this ends 3-0 to Spain.
