The topics already been done and the pitch at the Salt Lake Stadium is an abortion.

The MCG, it can be used for more then just soccer with its oval shaped pitch.

The MCG is a hole. There is a cricket pitch in the middle of it.

Shows what you know as the cricket pitch is not there during the AFL season. The cricket pitch is only there when they intend to play cricket.

The MCG is the best sporting stadium in Australia and probably the best sporting stadium in the Southern Hemisphere.

It's definitely the best cricket/AFL stadium in Australia. Not the best for football/rugby codes.

You're the biggest idiot here as AFL is only followed in 4 states. There are way better stadiums in Australia than that abortion like Telstra Stadium/Dome and Suncorp.

Apart from being a proper football stadium. You really are an eggball bogan if you can't see that the MCG isn't for football.

That's why the play World cup qualifiers, friendly's, etc there, it's used more a variety of sports.

Telstra dome is a dome shape to, but that's a football stadium according to you isn't it.

They haven't played an important match there for awhile now.

You knob. Football is ahead of NRL and only teams like Marconi own their stadiums. Once this league has been going a bit, teams will own their stadiums.

Sydney Football Stadium and Suncorp are by far better than the tardome or the MCG. I'm sorry but an oval stadium just doesn't cut it for Football. As soon as the victory get their stadium built they'll see how much better it is to watch football up close.

Hindmarsh and bluetongue aren't that bad either, but they need a larger capacity.

Im confident if there was a World Cup in Australia the final would be played at the MCG, the greatest Stadium in Australia and one of the best in the world.

How is it a good football stadium if it's a few kilometres from the pitch?
People can make up their own minds.

lol i am 100% sure an asian cup or world cup final would be played at ANZ stadium not the MCG. Rectangle 80K stadium > 110K oval. Also this guy, called frank lowey, you might have heard of him, pretty much demands all the big games be played in Sydney.
