And this referee has been not calling obvious fouls.

On a note away from the sad ref performance:

I really like Grosso. He gives you solid defense and attacking options at outside back. He also has rare height for a player with these abilities which gives another solid player for set pieces.

Looks to me that Spain could use Fabregas in the middle. They also look vulnerable on the counter and Cassano could really do some damage if he gets the chance to go at the cb's with some space.

I'm not neutral - I'm for Italy. And I think Spain is getting screwed.

All Spain has to do is shoot a goal and that's that..I'm sick of all the Ronaldo-type players who expect the referee to call everything..they fall down then look at the referee

Well based on good football and style, there's only one team that deserves to go through so far.

Ref should just ignore the Italian death threats and do the right things.

    LMAO! Wonderful dive Toni!

The defender barely touched his calf and he fell like he got shot in the shoulder.

Spain needs to keep it's collective cool and continue playing their game. This is how Italy usually plays, they'll wear you down and hit you on an isolated play.

I'm thinking some of you guys need to chill a bit, judging from the posts that are getting deleted.

Toni fouled, and that was completely legit.

The ref isn't very good, but Andy Gray needs to STFU.

Please, please Italy keep playing like this and then Cassano scores the winner in the last second. I just wanna smile at what Marca and the world media has to say after.

I don't know where Donadoni expects anything to come from, it's as if no one trusts Aquilani to have to ball and provide the creativity that Pirlo provides, and Perrotta doesn't have the quality to create anything. Bring Di Natale on!
