Who would you pit against the top countries in the world from now until 2010 (post-World Cup), that means the top players now and the top up-and-coming players you predict will be number at their position.

I think Ali Ashfaaq of Maldives, who claimed the best player of SAFF championship 2008 should get a chance in the dream team....what do you guys say....???

no offense to Maldives n all man... I have been there It's beautiful and everything but.... dude Maldives NT is terrible... I remember i watched some years back Maldives lost to Iran 17-0..... that's horrible even for a futsal score... other than that i haven't seen maldives play at all....maybe they have improved but i doubt their players are top 11 in asia

Maldives beat Sri Lanka and India in Sri Lanka in the recently ended SAFF championship.....and Maldives is the champions of the SAFF....I am sure even Brazil can't score more than 3 goals to our side....yoa man, you are talking about too old...

Beating Sri Lanka and India is hardly impressive. I'm sorry.

I'm glad to hear that Maldives is improving, but let's be realistic. You're "sure even Brazil can't score more than 3 goals" on Maldives?! C'mon, buddy. Just in the past year, Brazil has scored 3+ goals on Canada, Mexico, Ecuador, USA, Argentina, and Chile. I'm sorry, but any of the teams mentioned above would easily score at least 3 goals on Maldives.

Not to mention the fact that Lebanon scored 4 goals on Maldives just two months ago. So, you're saying that the Lebanese offense is more potent than the Brazilian one? Hmmm.....

I wish Maldives the best of luck in the future, but I suggest you lower your expectations and give your team some time to develop. Baby steps, buddy ;).

Lol how can you compare India to Brazil.... Maldives beating the worst teams in asia doesn't make them good my friend..... but I hope for the best in the future
