But anyways Its good to have the Arsenal faithful excited about seeing one of our players playing for their team. everyone is waiting for vela's number to be assigned. they want his name on their backs. its amazing seeing all the support he gets over here.
That was an awesome play by that defender....sure goal kicked away at the last micro-second by a flying defender....wow. It has to be on Youtube somewhere.
Vela hasn't even played for Arsenal and he already made him self a legend. Here are his feelings about Gio going to Sperz. "I hope things go well for him at Tottenham. He is a very good player and let's hope he can then move on to a better team." Giovani too good for Sperz
I'm glad Carlos is finally getting his chance in a position that he has proven he can excel in. People are paying more attention to him now, rather than before, when most people were hyping Gio. The PL is going to be very exciting now, with all these young players. And you guys are right about the women loving him thing..
Pretty good read and how he's going to make his debute against Juventus in the Emirates Cup at the bottom of that story.. http://youngguns.wordpress.com/2008/06/11/rowley-vela-is-more-bergkamp-than-eduardo/
that's the same blog hat said Vela was arrested and then kept deleting the posts that exposed their lies. I don't think its a good source to quote.
Forreal they said he got arrest?!lol had no idea I just read that part and thought it was correct about his debut ..Well there is a cup and Arsenal is going to play in it this preseason and hopefully see Vela play in it.. http://www.emirates.com/jp/english/..._21_EMIRATES_CUP_BRINGS_OUT_THE_BIG_GUNS.aspx
From a marketing standpoint, being in England will be the best thing for Carlos (and Gio too) because they will probably pick up the language in short order. Then, they can get the nice fat commercial deals in England and the US.
interestingly enough , gallas is number 10. wenger said he didn't want strikers to feel the pressure of being compared to bergkamp
no he didn't. the same blogger that said vela was arrested is the one that claimed rowley compared him to bergkamp when he did no such thing. bergie may have been a 2nd striker, but saying vela plays like one doesn't mean you're saying he's another bergie.
