Just a few of the several notable alumni:

 

Nah, we were 5-5 twice, 1-9 another year and I think 3-7 the fourth.

They got good just after I left, with a T formation running offense and a 9-1-1 defense. They literally put 9 men on the line of scrimmage and just tried to sack the quarterback from various angles before he could get a pass off. They were alright I think through the mid-90s, but sports weren't really much at LCHS until the girls soccer and girls basketball teams got good later in the decade.

That got them to 11-0 until the regional final, when Sherando beat them in Leesburg with former Bengal Kelley Washington just throwing long bombs and hoping someone ran under them.

I think that LCHS team had three 1,000-yard rushers.
