Average???? It's a Way Below Average Game. I didn't liked it at all !!!
Saudis were playing against the Minnows and yet they were facing difficulty in ball control in the mid-field.....

The Saudis played the Syrian anthem instead of the Lebanese. I wonder what that was supposed to mean.

Any way If Lebanon keeps developing, I think you will be competing for a better place in WAFF Championship this year or even for snatching Arab Nations Cup ticket. :)

They still have a reasonable chance, win their last two games, and Saudi Arabia lose against Uzbekistan, they qualify with 10 pnts.

Oh yeah, but they'll still qualify because of head to head.

Don't start conspiracy theories. A mistake was made and rectified.

Just to let you know the Guest team who gives the host Federation the National Anthem (CD), so the Lebanese are sure of giving you the right National anthem, but why/how you played the wrong one?

You claim with certainty something I'm very dubious of. Protocol is the responsibility of the host, the guest is not involved. They wouldn't bring a CD, nor a flag for that matter, to give to the host. It's the responsibility for the host to do all of that, and in this case the host f'ed up.

But if you want to turn a blooper into a conspiracy, fine.

The same situation was in a friendly match between Check Republic and Lithuania 2 weeks ago.
The Check officials played the Latvian hymn instead of Lithanian, and then some of them retired after apologizing. :)

Today Uzbekistan FF has officially announced that it is going to play against Saudi Arabia without its foreigners and probably will take to Riad an updated squad.

The whole thing is disturbing because the Syrian anthem was played..no one (me included) would've cared much about this mistake if it was the anthem of any other country was played.

Anyway it happend, lets get over it and move on.

Let's not forget that we played Syria a few weeks ago in a friendly, so they could have mixed between the two countries. In the end who cares.
