If I am not mistaken, a few months ago you said a casino was being built in town near a stadium. Is the stadium you mentioned the National Stadium?

They are flying tomorrow, it is very bad if the weather will be very humid, from our post matches I see that our players can not play good in that condition.
It will be an advantage for you, good luck!:D

Hariss knock out of WCQ and year-end ASEAN Championship
    [IMG]

Singapore Today paper reported Hariss Harun, Singapore’s youngest international when he took to the field for the Lions aged 16 years and 217 days against North Korea in 2007, as well as the only player in S-league history to be exempted from the S-league ban on Under 18 player, will miss out on the rest of the Lions’ World Cup qualifying campaign as well as the entire S-league season with a knee injury .

The Young Lions midfielder sustained ligament damage in his club side’s last S-League game on May 26 when the Super Reds’ Oh Ddog Yi fell on his right knee.

Scans revealed that the 17-year-old sustained minor damage to his lateral collateral ligament, a partial tear in his medial collateral ligament and a full thickness tear in his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).

Doctors do not want to rush surgery, instead they will wait for the swelling to subside and the player to regain a wider range of motion before putting him under the knife.

Said Yeo Hwee Koon, the national team physiotherapist: “Right now Hariss will be put on a rehabilitation programme involving cycling, knee exercises and some strength work to increase his range of motion. He will see the doctor again in two weeks.”

Three other Lions have experienced a similar injury – skipper Indra Sahdan and defenders Sevki Sha’aban and Noh Rahman – and each player have gone through different lengths of recovery time ranging from 5 months to 10 months which put in doubt Hariss place in the ASEAN championship to be held in December.

Gombak United captain Sevki took 10 months to return to competitive football, while Home United star Indra got back in half that time.

Still his national teammates Indra and Noh Rahman expressed their confidence in the youngster.

“I’ve spoken to Hariss and he is understandably disappointed,” said Indra, who spoke on the sidelines of the national team’s training session at Geylang Field.

“I told him that he shouldn’t worry too much. He’s young and with the medical support that we have now, he will be back playing football, for sure.”

Geylang United’s Noh Rahman – who tore his ACL in 2001 and took five and a half months to start playing again, was equally optimistic.

He said: “I’ve gone through it before, and if he takes his rehab seriously, there will not be much of a problem in getting back at all.”

S'pore team is hit by injury

He may nt be starting 11 but a good player to come off the bench if needed

Now he out & main striker Indra nt certain

Might go watch the Singapore Uzbekistan game if work allows. What time does the game kick off? How long would it take to get to the stadium from Raffles Place? I'm assuming I can get tickets at the door.

yes tickets can be bought at the turnstiles.

    kick off is 7.30pm.

from raffles place? assuming you take the MRT(train),
its 15mins just to get to Kallang MRT. then outside the stadium, a free shuttle bus service is provided to get to the stadium. (if you choose to walk, its a 10-15mins walk)

Why not? Their's two chances. One Saudi Arabia plays good and win, you can enjoy their playing, and two Lebanon might play a good game, score a goal, end the game with a draw. ;)

    Ticket sales begin at 530pm.

If you want to take a bus, you can take SBSTransit 16 from Raffles Hotel's bus-stop along Stamford Road.

Otherwise, you can do as what Woaosingapore said.

Lol I strongly disagree, both may have an impact on the team performance but winning against Saudi without doubt, meh, neither with or without them.

Besides Roda played against Uzbekistan and we still lost the game.
