    And that's it.

LFC4life said it best...TFC was playing a dangerous game and it burned them. Dichio's pair of goals not enough tonight.

A crazy sequence during stoppage time and a red card on Robert.

    3-2 DC is your final.

    Robert sent off 3-2 final

It was a very odd game, I feel mad because we lost in the fashion of a Sutton spill and dumb push from Wynne but really DCU took the game to us for the most part and were the better side on the night.

we didn't deserve a win in this one.

    1. Carver worked his subs poorly (that, I think, cost them the game)
    2. Wynne stupid play
    3. Sutton poor control (hard shot, but costly mismanagement)

They take out Marshall, and we allow 2 goals. Go figure.

Ya yer right Lfc4life ... also I fear TFC sits back on leads ... if they played like they did at the end when they have leads, all would be well.

Well I think this match shows how much farther we have to go to become a very good side in the MLS. We have improved a fair bit over the season but this games shows there is still a lot of work to be done to this side and no getting a new DP isn't going to solve it all (Though it would help).

Marshall was hurt. Carver should have subbed Robert on a yellow instead of Ricketts for Smith. Wynne had a brain fart..hes not used to being on that side of the player defending..it wasnt even dangerous at that point and Quaranta went down easily like he should. Sutton may have f'ed that one but made alot of saves during the whole game.

In the end...DC and good teams that can control the game will give Toronto fits...sure they can defend mostly but you cant give up that many chances.

Positives for me..Robbo played his best TFC game that I can recall. Dichio's first goal is an example of more on the fly plays that Toronto needs to create.

Negatives. Robert or lack thereof...same for Guevara. Edu...seems to be my whipping boy game in and game out. At this point I dont even think hes good enough for the USNT.

I think Wynne pushing someone down from behind is considered a physical mistake. ;)

This Is The Tipical "english Game", You Have To Use Youe Players Better. I Am A Lobo Fan Use Him In An Attacking Fashion Like A 4-4-2. Right Nowmhe Is Playing Like A Defender. We Need To Use Him Better.

    sutton's good streak ended tonight.

He should have come for the 2nd goal.

He should have caught or bounced in front of hiim the 3rd goal.

We will see Edwards vs Montreal

Just got back from the game.

Your fan club was awesome tonight; they filled up most of two upper deck sections, and had a pretty funny 'KFC United' banner with a chicken instead of our Eagle on it. And we could hear them for most of the game.

See you in the playoffs (If we make it!)

    Overall thoughts

Sutton - Made some great saves but was caught out on the first goal off the corner and really messed up the 3rd goal. Hope for better vs Montreal.

Wynne - Played decent only for the one moment of madness where I have no idea what he was thinking pushing Quaranta.

Velez - Pretty good showing, too bad he couldn't connect on one of those headers from the corner.

Marshall - Solid when he was on and hope the injury isn't to serious.

Brennan - Decent showing, got burned a few time but made a good run and cross on the first goal.

    Ricketts - Another poor showing

Edu - Starting to get worried about his form, maybe he is hurt but he doesn't look right. Not fully in it tonight.

Robbo - Good showing, did his job as CDM very well but he ran out of steam in the end like a lot of players.

Robert - Little impact besides the odd free kick or corner, dumb red card he took.

Guvera - Again like the last game he is defending and dropping in too much. If he is going to be doing that then we have to play with two strikers.

Dichio - Clinical showing, did a lot of donkey work and took his goals well.

Teliby - Looked decent, hope to see how he does in the next few weeks.

What a strange game. Of course I'm not happy with the loss, or the way a lot of the game was played,

Still, I'm surprised by some of the comments here (and other threads) about sitting certain players. Even if the players did have some sort of technical breakdown (which they didn't) I don't think TFC has the depth to bench too many of the starting 11.

Props to the turnout. I can't remember an opposing teams fan showing that strong not being a play-off match. That big U Sector banner was pretty ominous hanging over the rail.
    Good job hosers.

Just to add another DCU fan saying good on you guys for your traveling support. As far as interactions, I only saw some good-natured trashtalk, but I gather there were some hassles and shoving matches. :( I'm sorry if so--other fans should always feel welcome at RFK, especially such dedicated ones!
