Hey guys, I'm going to Lebanon for the first time in 8 years from July 8th to the 29th. I checked FIFAs site, but I can't find any international friendlies during that time. Anyone know of any? And are fans allowed to go to the domestic league games yet?

    Ahlen wa sahlen. :)

There are no games confirmed at that time for the NT. So far only Lebanon U-19 will play against Jordan in July.

No and I don't think that they'll allow it just for the last two matchdays to be played this season. Maybe next year if the situations keeps getting better..

Great to hear, enjoy your time in Leb.

Bachoura...I'd love but I'm too busy preparing for my final exams.

    Hehe good luck. :D

In Saudi. We've only got the Singapore match left.

We scored the 1-0 in min 42, then they equalized in min 45. HT was 1-1.

    how come?

i understand there's some internal strife back in lebanon.
why not play in the UAE or sth.

but then how come on the 22nd, singapore is playing in beirut and not in singapore or some other mid-east countries??

singapore needs saudi to drop points and here we have them having an extra advantage.

    preposterous

Saudis requested a move and it got approved, Singapore didn't and so the game will be played as scheduled in Beirut.

Lebanon - Saudi Arabia 1-2 played in KSA

Congratulations Lebanon, we have the worst record out of 20 teams playing in this round. Four games, four defeats - two goals scored and 9 conceded (almost another 'record', just Singapore who bitchslapped us was scored more on). In our last games I expect another two defeats who'll round up this qualification compaign.

We are already the joke of West Asia and we're working very hard to be the joke of Asia as a whole, and guess what? we have great success at reaching this goal. All teams in this continent are getting better and better, everyone except Lebanon.

Oh btw. Whilst surfing through the-afc.com I found a document saying that every League that wants to participate at the AFC Cup from 2012 and further needs to be professional with some standards. Well...hell will freeze but this country will never get a professinal league...so lets prepare ourself for playing the Nepalese and Sri lankian champions at the AFC President's Cup.

Oh and not to forget something about our hosts

They played the Syrian national anthem instead of the Lebanese one before the game. Very classy.

The AFC Youth Championship will be held in Saudi in November, I wonder what'll happen there..maybe they'll bring us the pathetic Baathist flag...
