Jeff Curtin retires.

    It never really hit me until now, but I feel like maybe we should have chosen Jozy Altidore instead of Jeff Curtin.

    I could be wrong on this, but wasn't there some sort of special clause that allowed Jozy to be signed by the MetroStars and no one else because he had come up through their youth system? I thought this was a special circumstance that MLS made(stop laughing) to try to encourage more teams to create youth systems. Since then, teams now always get first dibs on development players from their systems, but this wasn't the case when they first started cropping up.
