HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAH Copying, Plagiarizing, Regurgitating information from the U.S Soccer Hall of Fame website is a poorly veiled attempt to appear credible. That was just a lot of drivel about nothing. You are funny, sitting with your computer posting erroneous information, trying to claim 13 years of Clavijo's mediocre coaching record with 13-17 losses each year is some how Hall of Fame calibre. But then looking up ridiculous statistics on a website only exposes your lack of knowledge and dependence on the internet. Not to embarrass yourself further, but ignorance caused you to post erroneously and ignorance caused you to promote vociforously that you are uneducated in American Soccer. SIGI SCHMID, Head Coach, MLS Columbus Crew, National Soccer Hall of Fame Coach HAHAHAAHAHAH Buenas noches Miguel. Adios. p.s. You lack credibility and therefore so does your assertion that you have ever been to Oneonta, New York. But I actually have been there playing in games and as an invited guest to the Hall of Fame facility. In language you probably understand, "You have officially been pimped and served!" From here forward I am going to be kind and nice to you Miguel, no hard feelings from my side.
Hey "OINK"..... Check out www.soccerhall.org/famers/inductees.htm I suggest that you scroll down to the names beginning with "S" and point out to the rest of the "ignorant" posters here at BS where Sigi's name shows up.... Now get back in your pen and go to sleep.
So where did you get that information, hot shot? And I'm Joe Gaetjens, and I invited you to those games. Seriously, buddy, quit the bullshit and find some other group of fans to harass, as judging by all of your other posts on Bigsoccer, you have quite a knack for. You haven't told us anything about Clavijo we haven't discussed before, and haven't already thoroughly exhausted. Sure, we'd all love to have Guus Hiddink here, but so far this season Clavijo's done alright and we don't need the additional vitriol here.
Google - US Soccer Hall of Fame Membership- [ Traducir esta página ] Sigi Schmid (1996). Hans Stierle (1996). Jack Sullivan (2007). Dick Wilson (2000). ... Eric Wynalda (2005). Source: U. S. Soccer Hall of Fame ... here is link to the archive: http://www.sover.net/~spectrum/hall.html Wow Miguel, your level of lack of knowledge has no limit even in looking up on the internet that Sigi Schmid was inducted into the Hall of Fame as a coach in 1996. I cannot have a war of wits with you as you are clearly unarmed. I appreciate your objections, but even more I now appreciate that you are happy in your ignorance. Goodbye. Goodluck with your never to be Hall of Fame coach Clavijo.
I know why most of the fans here don't like FC, but your hatred seems aimed somewhere else... Were you and Clavijo once lovers perhaps, and this is an outcry for affection by you??? If not, I'm really lost at what you are trying to prove here. FC sucks, yes we know, move on. Another little tidbit for you, lemons are sour...
Hmm, which to believe. Some random website, or the U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame's website. The HoF website has 3 lists, one by induction type, one alphabetical, and one by year. Schmit does not appear on any of them, certainly not in 1996. You know most people when they're in a hole stop digging...
Moderators are supposed to go about their business with a light hand, so can the guilty parties please cease and desist their personal-attackfest so we don't have to start taking more formal action? As you were.

Jason... It's true that Sigi was once selected as NSCAA coach of the year. A great first step in the right direction on the road to the Soccer Hall of Fame. However, I think that was also the year that this guy probably flunked out of UCLA and left the academic world to become a disgruntled US Soccer fan of the first order. Read some of his previous BS posts.
One more final post...... The AYSO Hall of fame "IS NOT" the US Soccer Hall of Fame!!! They are two different animals.... adios I'm through with pig wrestling.
It kept me looking at my cell, making sure that it is 2008 and not 07. I wonder if he's going to piss and moan about When Beckham and Blanco's first games are going to be. It's a pretty funny thing to watch a person argure with a group of people who agree with him. For that, I rate this thread, 3&1/2 soccer balls. seriously though,
This is why I will never be a moderator. I would have locked this thread, stabbed it with my stiletto heals. picked it up, shredded it, and tossed into the compost bin of worthless threads. Note - some of the above is metaphorical in nature.
I think the guy is one of Clavijo's kids worried about the groceries for the table and using reverse psychology on us. As recently as the periwinkle blue vs. brick red match I couldn't have imagined a bunch of people, Bigsoccer Rapids fans in particular, finding any possible cause to unite them in defending their former defender coach. I mean there was some dissent directed at the "Fire Clavijo" banner people at that pre-season scrimmage but most of it started with 'I want him gone too but ...' . Anyway, I want him gone too, I can't explain away his poor record, and I won't try by finding his name in the Who's Who of Funny Talking Guys That Have Kicked a 32 Panel Ball for Money list, but the timing is not optimum right now.
Hey, it's obvious that Clavijo would have been fired from his coaching job at every MLS team in the league except one. Nothing we can do about that and I doubt there's anyone on this board who has the power to change things. But I don't give a whole lot of respect to someone who claims to have "played for Hall Of Fame coaches that have actually been inducted into the U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame" but yet won't tell us his name? It's not the first time someone has popped in here claiming a great soccer career but never backed it up with any facts. Weak sauce, in my opinion.
We need threads like this around to show us how dumb some people can be when they don't follow a team, don't pay attention to these boards, and come into this forum like know-it-alls. 3 1/2 star thread, for sure. Lots of unintentional comedy by the former baller.
