First, he has a Mohawk. that kicks ass. Secondly he's from my alma mater CSUN. Not often we have professional athletes to be proud of. GO CSUN!

    Jordan:
He's young and still getting his skills together, but the guy runs his ass off. You gotta love hustle.

Donovan...he brought me back to MLS, renewed my love for the US Men's National Team, and introduced me to the Galaxy and their fine fans! He gets my heart a-pumpin'. :)

7-1-25. Clear Air Turbulence (CAT) PIREPs
CAT has become a very serious operational factor to flight operations at all levels and especially to jet traffic flying in excess of 15,000 feet. The best available information on this phenomenon must come from pilots via the PIREP reporting procedures. All pilots encountering CAT conditions are urgently requested to report time, location, and intensity (light, moderate, severe, or extreme) of the element to the FAA facility with which they are maintaining radio contact. If time and conditions permit, elements should be reported according to the standards for other PIREPs and position reports.

    Please stop drinking and flying...

Donovan has been my fav since Olympics 2000. I really hated it while he was with San Jo, but ever since his first game as a G, when he scored a great goal. Anyway, I love how Donovan is kinda screwed up in the head, and streaky. He is just our Landon

Does this mean that he is calling me a fairweather fan? Or does that mean hes calling me a what-appears-to-be-fairweather-but-turns-out-to-be-shit fan?

My guess is 7-1-25 is a simple code for something. I won't say anything more than that. I'm embarassed how long it took me to figure out though.

I don't think it was an aviation or weather related comment

I am a Beckham fan. I watched him debut for the first team at Man United in '96. I am a fan of his both on and off the pitch. In all the years I've watched him play, top of his game, dips in form, injury problems etc I've never seen him phone it in. I've never thought that he wasn't trying and that he didn't want to win as bad as I did and that's all I ask.

When my kids wanted autographs I saw how some players were too busy or would do a few mins and scarper but Beckham would always be the last player to stop giving autographs.

He always tried to sign for every kid that wanted one. I once was standing their with my youngest lad and one kid pushed another kid over to get closer to Beckham. He saw it and made the kids step aside and then he picked the kid that got pushed over up and made sure he was ok and joked around with him till he was grinning again.

Is he the sharpest blade in the drawer? Don't know don't care.

Is his wife hot or not? She doesn't play for any team I support couldn't give a big rats arse.

Am I a teenage girl with his poster on my wall? No

Am I the kind of bloke who won't give him credit or pretends to dislike him cos it ain't cool? No

Beckham is a fairly decent human being. He's a decent player too. He happens to be pretty easy on the eyes and has a bit of a female and gay following but if you can't see beyond that and recognise the kind of professional he is and has always been then it really says your a sad muppet who is forming an opinion as superficial as any teenage girls.

TJ your a dildo breathed ass clown or a 4-2-1-3 for short.

I'm proud to be a Beckham fan you can call me anything you want.

Nice post. Though you really do not need to take TJ seriously. There are not many people on this board take him seriously anyway.

It's nice to hear a man speak his mind, to call it exactly like it is without worrying about what others might think.

I agree with everything you said. Everything. My family and I have also met Beckham in person, so I know exactly what you're talking about.

My favorite Galaxy/US player is Donovan. However, I have great admiration for Beckham. From what I saw he has always fought his hardest for Galaxy. He is a true professional.

I'm really glad we have him. I hope he honors his contract and stays with us, and beyond (he has said this, hope he doesn't change his mind).

I've just acquired a Beckham jersey. I know I will wear it with pride. I am also a proud fan. Take care.

True this. I'd add that he's never been good at dealing with the media, or apparently, people in general. I don't think he does well as a team leader. But he is one hell of a player to watch.
