This is just like the game against Cruzeiro at La Bombonera. We could have been up by a lot, and it's only 2-1.

Hopefully the return game will also resemble the one against Cruzeiro.

What was Roman thinking on that? Horrible result for us, we need to come up huge at Jalisco.

Yeah, they have to win in Mexico. It's not an easy task, but I believe!

It's not a question of believing, it's about putting games away. This match shouldn't even have been close had we finished some of the better chances we'll see. No doubt we can do it in Mexico, we just have to finish plain and simple.

No doubt. To see BOCA have that many chances that close and piss them away drives you to drinking:D On that note I think I will pop open a brew and try to chill out.

The only disappointing thing about that match was that it was not played in the Bombonera. I enjoy the atmosphere that place presents. It's one of those historical places that comes across as an experience of a life time. :)

Moishe, ASF just remember that Lanus got a draw in the Jalisco 2-2. If they got a draw over there then we can definitely come away with a win and a pass to the semis ;)

I'm not worried about our ability to create chances, it's putting them away. How often can you recall seeing Roman with that many touches that close and not put one away? Palacio is turning into a head case. His decision making has been horrible, passes when he should shoot and shoot when he should pass.

    La Mitad + Román

Back after a few weeks of vacation ... not the right nite thou.

Ischia keeps playing Vargas for home games. Why on earth? Can't we play two wide midfielders with pace on the sides? And uses Maidana for most of the game ... no pace on the right for most of the game.

Roman is playing at 20-30%, not being an option for most of the game. Still, he is necessary ... as it seems that Ischia is not capable of organizing the team once the game starts. But, wtf is wrong with Roman? Only one shot on goal (the post) out of at least 3 chances in front of goal yet he decides to pass or to step on the ball.

Each cross is also a semi-hard attack for Boca fans. Despite all these weaknesses, the return leg can be handled if the offense can become effective once again. Boca is so much more than Atlas.

this sucks!,,, no excuse for Atlas to leave the match w/ a tie just so we can be in their backyard next week at (5,200 ft) 1,600 meters!

Come on people you guys (BOCA FANS) are throwing words around as if this Boca has proven a lot this torney. They are EXACTLY WHERE THEY BELONG, one step behind Atlas. They couldn't capitalize in the group stages and ended second to Atlas, again they failed to capitalize when Atlas was at their WORST so they WILL pay in MEXICO! Must we forget the BJ- 3 ATL- 0 last time in ARG? Atlas played their game and got a result that was exactly what they were looking for besides a win (SOCRE AN AWAY GOAL!!!) Last time the Boca Ladies stepped on precious AZTEC soil they couldn't find the net, I think Stevie W and Ray Charles would have had a better chance. So don' t give me this BS rhetoric about your team and how great they are and try to tell me about their "History" because that is all it is, simply HISTORY! Just in case no one noticed Maradona retired a LONG time ago, Riquelme is hot garbage, the only way, I REPEAT ONLY way Boca will win in Mexico is if this Riquelme clown has a perfect game (we all know this is highly doubtful to happen). Boca will pay for the same deficiencies that cost Riquelme his stay in Europe, INCONSISTENCY! Atlas has gone far beyond expectations already, they are getting the job done with an EXTREMELY young and unexperienced squad. Now I am realistic UNLIKE 95% of the Boca "groupies", so I will go on to say this: The Next leg will be far from EASY for Atlas, but without the Home advantage, and sometimes partial officiating Boca will NOT get it done. Hopefully this will not be the end of Atlas' run and this young squad will find ways to continue producing positive results. So once again before you ladies talk so liberally, so arrogantly, but on top of all so stupidly please remember the 3-1 in Mexico and the second place finish to ATLAS in the group stages! In Mexico we will not see a COMPLETELY defensive Atlas Squad like we did today, we will see a WAY better Match in Mexico! My prediction Either 1-1 or 2-1 ATLAS! VAMOS ZORROS Y SALUDOS A LA 51!

Bla bla bla ... ladies ... bla bla bla ... ladies. You try to prove your point by trying to offend? Have you ever kicked a football? From a 4-1/5-1, the game went to a 2-2. But this is football, if you pardon your opponent shit like this could happen. Boca played a bad game, yet run over Atlas in the 2nd half.

    ==================

The game in Guardalajarra will be difficult. Specially if Boca doesn't take their chances. Roman has to step up and ask for the ball. Offer himself as the logical, and safe, alternative. That is the real value of Roman in any team. But with his lack of physical condition, he didn't do this at all last nite, nor in many games this season. The injury, after overchallenging himself for the friendly with the Olympic team months ago took a toll on Roman. Lost the tuning of his physical while his team mates were getting fit. We all know how much Roman loves Boca, and how much he is needed, yet that decision to go to L.A. in February was simply selfish. A month out and his loss of shape is proving deadly for his game.

Ischia better form a team full of subs on Sunday. The first team needs rest to aim for a win in high altitude.

Don't bother trying to read it, he's just trying to wind us up and clearly has little clue as to what she's talking about. That over boludo that posted after him is no different. Ignore them.

Lanus got a 2-2 draw in Mexico, and they are awful right now so I'm confident Boca can get the win

Hate to break it to you but Boca has already starter playing reserves for the league games.

Ay dios la envidia. Besides, in Argentina no team has ever won the league and the Copa Libertadores, it's already known, which is why our starters will be well rested for the game against Atlas (reserves will play against Racing this weekend)
