After a long year of studies i have finally returned to the great city of St. Louis! The Lions play on sunday at 5:00p.m. and i will be there to watch my first game. I hope that people are still planning on going. I think we should get organized. Maybe we can all meet right before the game somewhere. I think it would be awesome if we could get vocal and get some chants and songs going. Can someone who has been out there before tell us where we could meet at prior to the game. I'm thinking maybe like 4:30 or 4:45. I hope to see you all there!

    ATTENTION:

We are evaluating the field conditions to today's Mother's Day Match Up.

Current Field Conditions at the Tony Glavin Soccer Complex are deteriating rapidly. And the matchup may need to be postponed.

The back up field at CBC has sustained damage due to the light towers blowing over on to the stands and field. Due to this circumstance it is not playabe.

    We will keep you updated.

We appoligize for the inconvenience but I can tell you it was horrible driving home in this stuff last night....after our 2-1 win over Des Moines.

You may call the office for updates at 636-939-5151 or check back here or The Lions board for more detail.

yea, as much as I'd like to head out for the game today, its a 90-100 minute drive for me and this weather is terrible (although I'd get kickass fuel mileage on the way home!)

The St Louis Lions Quallified for the US Open Cup this past weekend with a 1-0 victory over the Springfield Demize and a 2-2 draw with the Kansas City Brass.

This is the first time that the Lions have qualified for the Cup.

The draw will be held either later today or tomorrow. We will find out our next opponent at that time and if we will be hosting. The game is scheduled for June 10th. We do know that the next opponent will be a pro team from the USL-1 or USL-2 division.

Where will that game be held? Is this a game that we should try to gather supporters for St.Louis United? I think if we start getting out more, it sure would help our chances of securing a team and get a little notority. Hate to say it but SOB's where pretty good about doing that and look what it got them. SOB's did have more and bigger events to attend, but this could at least be a start.

Ugh. That team deserves a beatdown just for having that ridiculously stupid name.

    Congratulations, by the way!
